Well today has been a particularly bad day for me. I'll admit it, I'm down, depressed. It's not fun, and I sure as hell didn't ask for it. Anyways, other than D being on a particularly bad roller coster ride due to leaving high carb food out since he was dropping rather steadily right as I was going to work, we've been doing ok with it. I don't really like that pink though. It keeps coming back to haunt me.

Also I was an hour late on his PM shot... probably why he got another pink :YMSIGH:
 
Did you give an am shot?? Is that why he is pink?-Or because you gave HC foods?-
Look this is not easy, and we have all gone through what you are experiencing--
Do you see how many cats do go into remission here? And most are regulated here??

Your kitty has an illness, you have the tools & ability to make him better--Yes it is a life style change, but for the love my cat has given me she deserves it..
Read your profile & see you work nights, which is hard--But it is doable!
I do believe you love your cat & you are overwhelmed like we all were--
But You Can Do This--It just becomes second nature after a while...Your cat is only on 1 unit..
You need to give it a chance--You have the most unbelieveable support group here in the world, and someone will always help you!
BTW normal BG numbers for a Cat are 60-120..You can do this--Please give it some tiime--We will all help you.
 
Calmness... I'm not depressed because of D. I'm just having a bad day. I'm guessing he went pink because I was late on the PM shot, I am in no way giving up on my Danny boy. Sorry that I sounded that way.

Also didn't realize that I forgot to put the dose for AMPS on my ss. Oops. Yes he did get it.
 
So Glad to hear it, You know I'm the Pep talk person ;-) after being here so long!
I had a lousy day myself, My stepmom was on life support, family all flew in, her kids were with her, drs said she'd go without life support.. we are all on edge, they take out tubes--
Holy Crappus!! She awakens, is talking, joking with them, and seems fine!!!! WTF???
We are still going up ther Sunday to see her--Talk about crazy--Have a good night tomorrow will be better! Hugs from us! :-D

Time heals all wounds. I'll be fine after a while.
