Happy Day!! told you he'd be back in no time! Glad he's feeling so much better and already skipping about in yellow. Rupie is bouncing, I think.. starting out today in an icky red but I have high hopes that he'll soon be chasing Checkers! Hope you have a great Sunday!

Isn't it great to see Checkers acting normally and having much better numbers! Looks like he'll have a good day today, and that means that you will, too! I hope the rain doesn't keep you from your walk.

I read yesterdays post & felt so bad for your trouble & Checks not feeling good!! Pain can also raise BG..Just wanted you to know that Moonie's 2nd dental I gave her bupe for 4 days as prescribed--Why should she feel pain for even a second??
AB's are so necessary after the dentals--How about calling your drug store & ask them if there is any sugar in the ab's? You dont have to explain..
People think it's bad to give bupe to kitties but giving for the days prescribed is really the right way!
Poor Checkers, I hope he continues to improve--Copper also had drooling on the 2nd day after he got several extractions including his canines..He got through it too after that day he got much better--
You are in our thoughts, & we are sending Healing Dental vines to our good pal Checkers!!

Roni, I know for sure there is sugar in the AB. It says so on their website.
He didn't need bupe today, he seems to be feeling good.
You are right about bg raising from pain too. I forgot to take that into consideration.
If I can keep him at least yellow, with slight dosecrease, I'm not going to worry about the sugar in the AB

I just watched the videos and Tess was sleeping on my lap. As soon as she heard Checkers, she had to look at the video and wanted to steal the banana too. Now I think she wants to play mouser. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Okay, who called my boy a brat? :lol: Those are a few months old.

He isn't feeling well today. He's been subdued. He ate a little and drank a little, but mostly slept. He was slower moving, than normal.
I treated for tummy upset, because he was drooling, and AB can do that, but I don't know if he is also in back or mouth pain.

Oh Checkers! Those videos were awesome! The sound effects had me rolling on the floor! Were you purring and growling at the same time in the last video?

I am glad the dental went ok, but sorry he is feeling a little yuck right now. :YMHUG: cat_pet_icon

Hang in there. Im sure he will turn the corner (for the good) anytime now.

I don't think its going to hurt to give him bupe, if Checks' vetty gave him more bupe then why not give it to him? Its only been 2 days since his dental right? He's probably still in a bit of pain.

I loved the videos of Checkers and his nanners, boy he did NOT like you messin' with his nanners. I love the names of the videos as well, "hands off my nanner!" :lol: :lol:

I hope Checkers feels better Barb, and you are not being a mush ball, nobody likes to see their baby in pain :sad:

Wow, Checkers is not to be messed with when a 'nanner is concerned!! Those videos are something! Go Checkers! Soon you'll be feeling better and you can take up where you left off with the 'nanner. (be careful of your fingers, Barb!!) :smile:
