I’m sorry to have been MIA yesterday. I need to reprioritize my time. I have been spending so much time on the board; I have been neglectful of some very important aspects of life. It’s like an addiction! Yesterday I swore off for the day and actually got in my morning Wii Fit exercise, got some good progress on work projects and had some family time last evening. The thing that made me realize I needed to do this was when I was smiling my way through a post describing playtime someone was having with their kitty when it hit me, I could be playing with Weezer if I wasn’t sitting with my iPad. ohmygod_smile Revelation time! So I may not be posting everyday, and I won’t have time to visit condos every day. I feel I know all of you and your sweet kitties. In your individual ways, you have given glimpses into your lives. I find it amazing that I can feel so close to so many people I never met, and wouldn’t know if I ran into on the street. So please know, even if I don’t get to visit with you everyday, you are all on my mind and heart and I will check in when I can, and definitely when anything exciting happens in our lives.

There is no change for Weezer. Still pink and yellow, still getting ungodly amounts of juice, usually served with a chaser of R. Still happy, sweet and precious.

Wishing a kitty day for all, plenty of purrs, play, sunny spots and lots of love.

I hear ya on the playtime, and as time is so short, I'm glad that you're doing that with Weezer, and family. Time is definitely precious to us all, isn't it?

Hi Linda,
I'm glad you're going to take more time for yourself and your family. That is so important. I try to do things unrelated to FD every day because it is easy to develop an addiction to the board, especially if you are retired and don't have a work schedule.

I understand too! It takes time to keep up with such a large social group. On the other hand, how would we have ever done this without LL? I can't even imagine. Happy Caturday!

Hi Linda, I so understand as I find myself doing the same thing and feeling the addiction. It is a very busy board and not possible to keep up with everyone. So good for you realizing your priorities, especially with family and the exercise. Have a wonderful Saturday.

Kudos to you!!!! I so understand where you are coming from. I too used to spend so much time here, none of it regretted, until I started caring for my DGS - then I couldn't. I post when I can, and have found that both aspects of my life work now: the board and my family. We all understand - your life is important too! One simply must take care of one's self, take time for you - it is so important.

Nnnnnooooooooo Linda you can't leave us for days at a time!!! We'll miss you and Weezer!!!!! A break every now and then is needed i suppose, i know i take breaks from time to time, just don't leave us forever!

We will be thinking of you anyway. I know sometimes I have to drag myself away or try to time limit myself. The time limit thing doesn't work so well, I always think oh I just have to visit such and such, and then such and such and before I know it another hour or two have passed :lol:
