Yesterday

All is well with Trix...happy appy, snuggles, fairly easy gelcapping. Her appy was exceptionally happy last night, which I always enjoy seeing!

Still haven't heard if they are going to release my Dad today, but we should be getting some sort of info soon. He was feeling better during the day yesterday, but it's going to be a long haul with ups and downs...his temperature was going up a little by the evening. What's frustrating is they won't give anything unless it goes over 101, and since his "normal" has always been 97.6, that 101 is pretty high. I'm sure he will feel better just by being home, though.

I'm not sure what time my Mom and I are heading over, so I'd better start getting myself ready so I can go when the call comes in. Have a great day, L&LL!

They were reluctant to give my mom anything for fever either but I think the cut off was under 100. I hope he comes home today.

Sending good thoughts for you dad. I hope he was able to come home today. I think the reason they don't give meds for a somewhat higher temperature is because they inhibit the body's ability to heal and regulate itself.
