Good Evening, L&LL,

Rusty is cruising along on his steroid. I'm going to give the present dose (fat 0.25) another 3 cycles, to make it 6 cycles, before going up again. But I hate seeing pink!! Rusty had a good day of breathing, and he had good appetite (Holistic Select turkey; RAWZ chicken; RAWZ turkey; Holistic Select chicken (not sure that he likes the chicken). I boiled up a small, whole, pasture raised, organic chicken to make a new batch of chicken broth for Rusty (no veggies or seasonings, just chicken and filtered water). He really likes this broth on top of his Paw Lickin' Chicken as part of his bedtime fuds. I offered him a piece of the delicious chicken and he ignored it!! More for us!

Edward is still taking care of his cold, but I went on the local Students' March For our Lives this afternoon and was impressed with the student speakers. They were also registering voters. I so hope we can keep this momentum. It was inspiring seeing the huge turnouts at all of the marches in the US this afternoon.

Wishing everyone a good evening and weekend,

Great Rusty report. You and Edward must be much relieved. :bighug:

Sending vines for Edward. Cool on the march. I think there were some in Canada too. We went to an English style pub and watched The Boat Race.

How's your mother doing? Is your dad OK now?
Tonight I made the Florentine Omelet in the "Essential Instant Pot" cookbook. It was super good. And we have enough for 2 more meals.
Still very cold here. We want to get out on the water, but it's mostly frozen.

I haven't tried egg dishes yet in the IP, must do that.

Thanks for asking about my parents. DM is doing OK, given it's just two days after surgery. She has been standing, but can't weight bear on that leg for six weeks. DF is worried, but now that DM has her cell phone and can call regularly, he will feel better. It'll be an ordeal to get him into visit her. I will visit him tomorrow.

Always nice to read a good Rusty report!
Hmmm....about once a week I boil a chicken breast for Boomer to give as treats and as part of his PM +9 fuds. I wonder if he would drink the broth from it! He doesn't drink water at all. Must test that out next time!
