Good morning, LL, and what a GOOD morning it is!!
Sun is shining, birds are singing, coffee maker is making, and Ripley is one very content kitty.
She's already had some BTB time with me, some BTB time in the backyard, ans now enjoying some BTB time on her rocking chair.
Her breffis bowl is empty ~ she actually ate it all in one sitting, that hungry hungry Rippo!

I'm sending lots of vines to Gobbles this morning (and to Kat!).

Hi, Courtney, I feel so spoiled going to BTB! And how nice that I have the option do to so for a whole week!

Ripples is in the lagoon :mrgreen: ! And I'm about to kick her butt outside, as it's too nice of a day for her to snooze on her rocking chair.
I feel like such a mom; "Turn off the tv and go play outside!" :lol:

Morning Josie, looks like quite a few of us are enjoying a btd on Sunday morning. Ripley is really on a roll with her btd's. Did Ripley just get her butt kicked off the rocker during a btd? :lol: Have a great day.

Hi, Ann, Ripley's officially "off her rocker" :lol: :lol: (that joke never gets old around here :lol: ) and out in the sunshine.

I just finished playing a round of "get your freeze-dried treat out of the box" game with her. She definitely needs some practice ~ kept pawing outside of the box while her nose was in a hole sniffing for the treat :lol: .

Ripley spent her afternoon basking in the sun . She loves Spring Break, too.

ETA: I've been re-reading the stickies and various links, and found this, which is a description of how various shooting spots effects absorption on insulin (i.e, flank vs. scruff), one of the links provided in the "New to the group" sticky. I haven't been shooting in the scruff, but it's an interesting conversation nonetheless.

Evening...
I shot in the flank for the longest time thinking it was important to do so.
And Shadow got fed up with it... it bothered her a lot more when I shot her there than when I switched to the scruff.

I gave up on shooting the flank. Marje said it only affected absorption rate ..flank vs scruff.

I found that to be true when I looked back at my ss.
Many rotate and shoot different spots... flank, scruff, few other spots.. mostly you want to avoid the same exact spot over and over...
