3/24 Raven AMPS 297 +5 330 +6 302 +8 269 (half dose due to ultrasound)

Hi all, just wanted to update you. Raven is at the vet for his ultrasound. Dropped him at 7:30 EDT and hoping to pick him up after 10am/as soon as vet calls.

They will feed Raven some of his raw food which I left with them as soon as he’s done.

His numbers last night continued to be in the 200s and this morning he was at 297 AMPS. So I gave him a half dose of 1u as requested by vet. Seems like @Wendy&Neko was right with her prognosis that he may bounce through the episode.

He was not a happy camper this morning and threw up some bile before we left. Poor bubs. Can’t wait to have this behind us.

Thinking of you and Raven today. I don’t know if your vet is the kind to call right away or not. Once mine kept Pearl almost all day bc no one had time to call. Now they know better that I will keep calling unless they get me first in a reasonable timeframe lol. Looking forward to the report.

Thanks for thinking of us @Margaret (and Pearl) And @tiffmaxee! The good thoughts helped! Brought him home about an hour ago and he’s doing well. Little higher numbers than usual (330 at +5) - so definitely glad I gave at least the half dose. He ate half of his frozen raw at the vet after the procedure and just had a little more at home. Results if ultrasound are expected Monday or Tuesday. So glad to have him back home!
