Weird numbers. Aha. New bottle of strips. The Arkray Glucocard Sensor Plus. Just weird results, cross checked with my normal Confirm meter, my back up Arkray meter...weird. Tried another new bottle; tried some remaining "old" strips. Guess Polly's glucose readings are simply "advisory."

After sampling myself multiple times tonight with various combinations of strips and meters, I'm now using Arkray meter, Arcray strips with the "bad" bottle way back in the cupboard.

Frustrating.

Polly's doing well. Sleeping a lot. We were all restless through last night so tired is the word of the moment in this house. Boomer's being difficult about eating. But with enough time and cajoling and tuna water, he's getting a satisfactory amount down the hatch.

Late condo...internet provider decided not to provide for several hours tonight. Frequent happening in this little desolate part of the world!

Hi Marilyn,
I wondered about whether the new Arkray Sensor "Plus" strips would be a problem. Did you clean and disinfect your meters, like they "demanded" you do?
I haven't opened a box of "plus" yet. Was going to, but then saw the instruction sheet and learned that the strips had changed, so decided not to test them yet. Another potential problem with my new shipment of 10 boxes is that they arrived on a day when the high temperature was zero. I worried about them freezing in the mail truck.
We don't need this now!!!

Have a good evening. I suggest that if you are satisfied with the numbers you got when you tested on yourself, the strips are probably OK and any weird readings are because Polly is a :cat:.

Oh no, what am I missing about the Arkay strips? :nailbiting: How frustrating for you having to poke yourself that many times!

Looks like a nice bue-ish flat cycle for Miss Polly :cool: Sending mega loads of eating vines for Boomer, hugs and scritches for all! Is it his mouth still bothering him or something else? Do you have forta flora aka kitty crack? Hope all of your crew sleeps better tonight Marilyn! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

p.s. Isn't it amazing how dependant we are on the internet- we had our power stay out for 18 hours earlier this year-I almost had an anxiety attack!:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Argh on the new strips. Sounds like I should get an Arkray meter on my next strip order. So glad I "only" ordered 750 strips (the old kind) last time.
 
Keep eating those fuds Boomer I'm sending some appy vines to you to help. Glad that Polly's doing well, having one down at a time is more than enough - unless you're a super human like Tricia!
