3/24 Moe: AMPS 445;+3=477;+9=423;PMPS=415

477 at +3. Moe’s demeanor seems improved, grooming a little, a little bit feisty when other cats get in his space. Appetite is very good, breakfast lasted from 5:15 to 8:00 this morning. That’s probably levy +3 is so high.

On a positive note, it only took one try to give his flagyl this morning. I think we are settling into a routine for that.
 
On another note...I got a Relion meter today and did a comparison test (took multiple tries with the Relion) and got 337 about 15 minutes after getting 423 on the AlphaTrak. That’s a pretty big difference.

When I switch to the Relion, do I need to make a new spreadsheet? Are the color ranges different on the two sheets?
 
No, you don't need to make a new spreadsheet when you start the new meter. Just leave a blank line between the days you switch meters and put something like, starting Relion on that blank line. The differences between the two spreadsheets is that for the AT below 68 is lime green, for the Relion it's below 50. Tagging @Marje and Gracie who can help you get that set up.

As for differences between the two meters, that's not unexpected, especially in the higher numbers. They are much closer in lower numbers where it counts. Plus manufacturers are allowed to be 20% off. 20% of 423 is 84, so it could be as low as 339, and that 337 could be as much as 20% higher.

I think you'll like the colour change when you switch meters. :) Moe definitely needs that increase, sooner rather than later. Does the flagyl seem to be helping out?

His stool is improving...more like soft serve ice cream and less like a puddle. Still no well formed poops though.
Thanks for the info on the spreadsheet. I want to give it five days on 2.0 because my vet is pushing back on the speed that I’m making changes. He has improved somewhat - no black numbers in a couple of days - but still not great, obviously. He’s just not getting down fast enough for me. I worry...
