Happy Sunday LL!!! Sending strong, positive vines to Noni for her surgery tomorrow and also to Angie so she can get OTJ!!!

Missy G was napping last night....until midnight when I was ready for bed. All of a sudden...she had ROCKETS on her little bottom! Our kitchen, nook, and den are one huge room with a large area between the nook and den where we have alot of the cat toys including her little throne and her new, large lounger. She decided this was going to be her own, personal obstacle course! She ran through the loops on the lounger, over the other throne, whacked one whack a mouse, then whacked the other one :oops: :oops: :oops: (yes, she has two but she LOVES them); around the den, back to the play area hopping over the new lounger like a horse in the Olympic jumping competition :lol: :lol: :lol: I thought I'd never get her to go to bed! I was looking forward to an uninterrupted SIX hours of sleep but she woke me at 4 am with those soft little whiskers on my face, purring with her tiny mew because I wasn't cuddling "right" with her. So I opened my arms for her to snuggle in, and we went back to I-) I-) I-) ...until Gus woke us at 5 :shock:

So..taking advantage of that yellow bounce last night, we all got a fairly good night's sleep. And she has been back to her busy little self today!

Hi Marje, hilarious Gracie report! Little Gracie foo, foo, bouncing through the Blaine house, scooping up the whack-a-mice, and bopping em on the head.

Thanks for the link to the Gussie article. I LOLed at the part about his eyes being too small for his head :lol: What a sweet boy he is, and what a little lover. <3

I love reading Gus's story and hearing about Gracie's late-night antics. He sounds like such a lovely boy! Thanks for the OTJ vines as well!

What a sweet article on Gus, he's just too adorable. Miss Gracie sounds pretty adorable too, whacking all those bad mice! Now why does mama bean need to sleep, when she knows the kitties need cuddles? :lol:

I just read the article about Gus Gus ~ filled my eyes with tears. Such a sweetie-pie.
I didn't think I could love him any more (he did help me learn how to give Ripley fluids, after all), but my heart just grew. cat_pet_icon

Love the article about Gus! Well written touching story. Kind of like a piece for the printed readers digest. Anyone remember that? :smile:

The scan captures the *feel* of inky periodical. Sometimes I get nostalgic for such simpler and slower paced times.

We're very lucky to get a similar kind of daily column right here. :thumbup

Hi guys,

What a super kitty Gracie is! Never a dull moment when she's doing her thing. And what more is there to say about Gus? That is a neat article, Marje. I'll bet they miss him at the nursing home now that he is retired.

Have a lovely evening, all of you. Gracie, when you're done with the acrobatics, you can work on bringing your numbers down. OK?

Extra scritches for my "other best boy", who I'm sure was a purrfect kitty today.

What a beautiful article about Gussie!!! And love the stories of Gracie's antics...it's all too familiar to me, and I love every second of it :lol: !

Blech on the Baby Girl's cycle today. More jooce tomorrow Lil Stinka!! I would have done it tonight but I already had the dose drawn and was running late.
 
Gracie, now the chance. Surprise your bean and avoid the dosecrease! Just don't wake her up in the middle of the night for a cuddle readjustment. :shock:

If Gus has eyes that are too small, and Tobey's are, shall we say, rather large, does that make Miss Gracie just perfect? :lol:
 
What a sweet article about sweet Gus. :-D :-D :-D Gracie, you are sweet too, as in "too sweet". You've got more jooce coming unless you do something tonight.
