THought we were going to have a good day. Not so much but the high number may have been from him eating some people food off of he dinner table. Bad Feeburt!!
We went to the vet today. Got some blood drawn and will find out if he has pancreatitis tomorrow. She wanted to wait a little longer before we test him for acro. He has only been on insulin for a month. Anyway. Maybe we are getting somewhere. That was a really good morning number.
Oh...didn't post yesterday so no condo. Bad Shelly!!

Shelly:

Can I gently nudge you to get the testing done? Feeburt may have been on insulin for only a month but take a look at some of the other SS of folks here. 8.0u is a high dose. It's not the 14.0u that Gayle/Shadoe was shooting but that was after more than one month. By the time you get the tests done and results back, if Feeburt keeps up at this rate, he will be on 10u or more. Did your vet have a rationale for waiting? (And do you know how many acro kitties or cats with IAA she's seen in her practice? She may not have a large group to compare dosing with.)
