Recap of yesterday's BGs:

AMPS - 161, cycle 3 of Lantus @ 0.10u
+3 - 98

PMPS - 132, cycle 4 of Lantus @ 0.10u
+3 - 152
+6 - 137

This morning's AMPS was 121, and Cini's +3 was 133 and we're on cycle 5 of Lantus @ 0.10u.

As I suspected, I'm not seeing the double digits like I was on the 0.25units of Lantus now that Cini's shed is draining a bit.

I'm wondering if I should give it a couple more days at the 0.10 units and see where he settles out or go back to 0.25 units but try Marjorie's suggestion and steer the numbers with higher carb food at key times. confused_cat

I'm glad to see Cini back on track after that round of wonkiness recently.

Honestly I don't think I would change anything right this minute. Things seem to be settling down a bit and I would hang on a bit and see where he goes. It's not as if 130 is actually high, and he hit 40s yesterday so I would just sit on it for at least a couple more cycles. Flat is good, and he might shift that flat cycle lower without intervention from us (today's AMPS is much lower than yesterday's). If not, then you can increase and feed the curves, but I would kind of like to see what he does on his own with this dose first.

I like Libby's suggestion. Sometimes, a dose needs more time to settle.
