Good morning all, and what a morning it's been. ;O/ I was running late, put on the wrong brown shoes (so now I have to keep pulling my pats up so they don't hit the floor), the drooler ripped open the plastic Target bag of poop I had just scooped while I ran to give choco his shot so I had to clean up that nasty mess and was then late for my bus downtown which made me late for work. Phfewwwwwwww....... The good news is, Choco and the other furbabies are doing just fine! I hope everyone has a wonderful day and I am going to try and do the same. :O)

I know Karrie, total ewwwwwwww. Things have settled down now that I've gotten to work.

I need to sneak over to some condo's. I've not visited in a couple of days.

:lol: :lol: :lol: Natalia, that was funny! My day did get better Celia. I just got back from watching my nephew play some ball. It was a great game and they whooped the other team. :mrgreen: I do know that I am beat and am going to be hopping into bed right about NOW! Have a good night everyone.

Hi Marleen,

Oral prednisone is a corticosteroid, and it is hard on the other organs of the body. Flovent inhaler is also a steroid but as others have mentioned, the theory is that it only works on the lungs and does not affect the other parts of the body (I'm a little skeptical, but it is definatly a hugh improvement over prednisone, I only use prednisone for a very severe ) attack. I use an inhaler called intal, it is not a steroid, and recommend for children and people with other health issues that complicate the body. I'm not sure if it can be used in cats, but maybe you can ask your vet. I order it from the UK (it is definatly cheaper that ordering from Canada). I will look for my receipt and send you the link to thier website. It is recommend by Dr. Andrew Weil, he combines eastern and western medication, and is highly respected. It may be worth a try, and probably should be used with caution, as I said I am not sure it can be used in cats. I know it works wonders for me.
