Hey everyone,

So..I hope I didn’t mess up but tonight we had somewhere very important to be and it started at 6:45 pm (eastern standard time) Bella normally eats around this time and then gets her shot at 7:00 (as long as she cooperates and eats her food. If it’s a food she doesn’t care for she’ll walk away and not eat. Like last night she got her shot at 7:20 pm and this morning around 7:10 am. This evening my husband fed her at 6:30 and gave her the shot at 6:35.

I read on here that you can give a shot early either 15 mins each cycle or 30 mins one cycle. So instead of +12 AMPS she got it +11.5 AMPS and her BG before she got her meds was 332 and I just checked and it was 148 +3 PMPS.

Is she going to keep dropping? Did I mess up giving it to her that early? I’m worried now :(

And what does this mean for tomorrow morning?

Some cats are more sensitive to even a 30 min change in shot time. You didn't mess up at all! :bighug:
Did she get food between PMPS and +3? Did you feed her after the +3 test? Can you get a +4?

We fed her but I think the food she got is very low carb and yes I just tested her again +4.5 and it went from 148 to 158. I’m just about to go to sleep and I was a little worried.
 
Once you have your question answered, please take down the "?" prefix from the subject line and remove the "please help". I'm glad Bhooma was around to help, but it's a little worrying to see that "please help".
