Very quick...heading out the door in a minute. Trixie is doing well...happy appy, snuggles, feisty, a little hissy ag gelcap time, but I got it down on the second try.

My Dad is still in the hospital. Yesterday morning, he was doing better, but in the afternoon, weakness started again. In my research, I think it was being caused by the IV ABs they gave him, because the weakness began about an hour after they started the drip. They're blaming it on his BGs...maybe that's a factor, but I don't think it's a HUGE factor. I haven't gotten any updates yet this morning, but my Mom and I are heading over shortly.

I'm thinking of everyone here, even though I'm not able to post right now....

Vines and prayers head your way for you dad, your mom, and you. A friend of mine who is in good health just ended up with pneumonia after the flu and it made her so weak even after 3 weeks so I wouldn't be concerned about that part. Being in the hospital and awakened often just adds to it.:bighug::bighug::bighug:

BTW: My DM always starts to do better in the hospital and then gets weak before getting better every time she is hospitalized and on IV.
 
Good girl, Trixie. Keep being a cooperative little kitty, but don't lose the feistiness! It lets Mama know you're feeling well.

Thank you for all the vines, visits, and prayers. My Dad seems to be doing quite a bit better today, and we're hoping he can be released tomorrow. His strength is starting to come back. I'm pretty sure yesterday's IV ABs played a role, but we'll never know for sure. He's now on oral ABs.

I am beyond drained....but I still have everyone here in my thoughts and prayers....

Hi Amy,

Sending more prayers for your dad that he will continue to recover quickly and come home tomorrow.
