Good morning, everyone,

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Dyana and her family.

Rusty has another 212 PS this morning (that's three in the last 3 days). If this cycle turns out to be weird, we will return to the previous pen to try to determine if the new cartridge is a bad one (the previous pen still has a little insulin in it). Cycles have been weird since the new cartridge, but, of course, it could be the cat.

Rusty had a good night. He woke me a few times with kitty kisses and pats with his paw. His breathing was good and he sneezed up some gunk. We had a good test and shot this morning. First sitting of breakfast has been eaten, lung treat enjoyed, and we are about to have a combing/brushing. Edward is baking bread. We have 2 inches of new snow and it is 15 degrees outside.

I hope the numbers come back down today or at least that going back to the old pen helps. We have had a pen problem too.

Baking bread at 15º, sounds like a nice cozy house today.

I hope you can determine if it's the cat or the pen soon. Maybe Rusty will slide down today.

At least the numbers have been consistently weird, right? :-D Seriously, I hope it's just a kitty issue that will resolve itself soon. It's so hard to deal with wonky insulin. (Of course, it's also hard to deal with a wonky cat!)

Sorry about the snow. It sounds like a good day to curl up on the couch with a cat and a book (or just a nap).

Goodness! (I wrote the same thing for J.D.'s 39) Maybe it was the pen? Very cute with the kisses and pats. :-D :-D

I guess it's not the insulin!! Rusty,of course, is setting himself up for another bounce. 39 for a "seasoned" diabetic means an automatic reduction. We'll go down a drop tonight unless the bounce is too high, in which case we'll take the reduction tomorrow.
Edward's bread turned out great. I vacuumed the downstairs (to keep my knee moving :lol: ). After we give Rusty another test in a half hour we're going for a short walk. The day has turned into a sunny winter day. Wish I could snowshoe or ski!

Yep, that answered your question on the insulin :lol: . Congrats on the reducie! I hope he will come up a bit and surf that green. None of that bouncing, please, Rusty!

Enjoy your sunny winter days. Those can be so beautiful. I love sunlight on fresh snow. Maybe a photo or two? Have a great walk.

Snow!??! Yuk. I've had enough of it for this year and we might get more on Tuesday. I am ready for the cherry blossoms and it feels like I might not see any until JUNE!!! Uuuugh. Yep, you are right. Tiki and Rusty can be book ends for the 30's today! LOL

I shot through the bounce and will take the reduction tomorrow morning. Rusty had a good day and seems to be over his doldrums.
We are to have "single digits below zero" tomight!!

Goodness, Rusty! That's the way to show mom you got good jooce! He's such a sweet boy.

Edwards bread always sounds so great. I hope your knee starts recuperating. Tobey said he'll give you a massage.
