I had the worst dream this morning : my mother was living with me and she shot Billy for like 7 cycles, giving him random, high doses of insulin. The poor Billy boy received up to 6.5 units! @-) I was in a panic, and my mother was so very sorry, but did what she thought was best as I never really explained how much insulin he was supposed to get... I remember trying to log in to this forum but my computer wouldn't let me. :lol:

When I finally woke up, I found a starving version of Bill, as usual. And - surprise - preshot number is on the blue floor! I didn't expect that with the pink day we had yesterday. :-D

That sounds like a terrific nightmare! It reminds me of a story my vet told me. The cat's dose was 3.0 units of Lantus. The bean had to be away for an evening and her mother came over to give the shot. She misread the 3.0 as 30!!!!! (the cat survived).

Moral of this story?: keep your mother out of your dreams (and away from Billy's insulin)??

Wow, what a dream, Manouk! That puts my "zombies in the mall" nightmare to shame! It's funny but not... I know what that panic feels like. I'm glad it was only a dream, and Billy is showing you a nice AMPS today to make you feel better. Good job, Billy! :mrgreen:

OMG I am so sorry for laughing at your nightmare. ohmygod_smile :lol: And it was a nightmare. Were do our brains come up with this stuff.

Oh you can laugh, Karrie. :lol: It was just a dream.

Ella, that's a horrible story. 30 units is huge! Poor cat. I feel sorry for the mother, too; she must have felt so sorry she made a big mistake because of a misunderstanding. Now I see that even my nightmares aren't so bad : 6 units isn't all that much!

Billy is still blue, and for once, that is a good thing. :-D

I have dreams about Lantus Land and the whole sugardance as well...
fortunately, mine are generally silly ones...
