I'm glad you can stop back home to test. That's a big drop by +2.5. If you've not thought about a timed feeder, it may be helpful especially for those days where you may not be able to get home mid-day.

Good point, Sienne. It would be very rare that one of us couldn't get back home if necessary, but that doesn't mean it can't happen. I'll definitely start looking into adding a timed feeder to our repertoire. As you said about Gabby the other day...maybe we should change her name to Credit Card...or LongTermDebt :lol: .

She does seem to like these big +2.5 drops, especially in the mornings. So far, they haven't produced any huge surprises, and she usually slows down by about +4...but I also know that predictability flies out the window with FD.

I'm also planning on shifting her shot time from 7:15 to 6:00. That will make it easier for me to squeeze in an extra test before I head to work in the morning, and get a few more evening tests in, as well.

It's looking like a flat pink evening again. I really don't quite understand this trend she's on, given how pretty her numbers were when we first started this dose.

I did her evening shot 15 minutes earlier tonight...I'm working on shifting her from 7:15 to 6:00, so I'll be shifting her evening shot 15 minutes earlier every day till we get her to 6:00.

In another thread, someone mentioned that they noticed their kitty's BGs had gone up since the Wellness recall. Now I'm wondering if that is a factor, since she eats Wellness Chicken. I'm going to get a few cans of something else to try tomorrow...
