3/22 Trixie AMBG 124

All is well with Trix...happy appy, snuggles, easy gel-capping.

My Dad, however, landed in the ER last night with pneumonia. No coughing, but high fever and weakness. X-rays showed the lung infection. So nerves-rattling and anxiety continue. I was there with my Mom until 1:30am, and am heading back over shortly. They have him on IV abs, and as of last night, with a few minutes of starting IV fluids, he started feeling better.

Have to get moving...sending prayers out to all of my L&LL family...

{{{Amy}}}. I'm sure you're exhausted and worried and scared. I'm glad Trixie is being such a good girl so she doesn't add to the stress. Unfortunately, we know chemo makes one susceptible to illness and infection, so I guess it's not a big surprise that your dad got sick. His responding so quickly to the AB is an excellent sign, though. You know you have the full force of LL vines and prayers behind you, so you take care of your family and don't forget to take care of you, too.
