You can't go wrong working with them!!!! Wendy is the BEST..... Your in great hands.
Just checking in on you & TiTi. My kitty Fritz is also a high dose kitty. :)

Hi-dose kitties are a ton:arghh: of work, as you know. They keep us on our tippy toes.:cat:

I thought I got all these wrinkles and gray hair from DH and raising 3 kids. This FD takes the cake:nailbiting::arghh:
Is TiTi still on Prednisolone? Fritz has been off and on for most of his life. Is TiTi high dose from pred? or does TiTi have other circumstances?
Fritz has asthma he is obese 28.5lbs. FD and we think under active thyroid Hypothyroidism. I'm am struggling to keep up with all the meds and supplements.that need to be given at meal time. He's so over weight that it makes it almost impossible to give all that stuff. It took me awhile to figure out give little meals more frequently and add the stuff at different times. It feels like I am always in the kitchen. My DH says no wonder he is so Heavy:eek: I tell him he only gets a total of 4.6 ounces a day and that is what a 12lb cat eats.
I don't think any of us beans had a clue as to what we were attempting to manage:banghead::arghh:

we all have to hang in there for our fur babies:cat::)

TiTi is off prednisone, except during a few emergent situations. Prednisone might have kicked off her diabetes, but it also appears that she may have acromegaly, a disease known to cause the symptoms of diabetes.
I had no idea how much work this was going to be, nor how expensive it has become. I'm glad that I didn't, because it would have overwhelmed me.

Yet it is gratifying to see how happy and well TiTi is, after some 3 years fighting diabetes. She made most of her progress, since I joined FDMB about a year ago. I'm incredibly grateful to all who gave and continue to give their time to help TiTi and me.

Fritz has hypothyroid? Wow. I know it is very rare in cats. Good thing you're dieting him, because 25 pounds is a lot of weight for a kitty to lug about.
How do you treat his asthma. I ask, because I have a cat who needs a nebulizer to combat low grade pneumonia, but I am unable to effectively administer it to him. At present I put him in a sealed cat carrier for 15 minutes, but it stresses him out so much that I fear it does as much harm as good.
