Good Morning, Everyone,

It's a beautiful, sunny, spring morning: temperature 9 degrees (above zero). There's an old Billie Holiday song, "Some Other Spring", and at the moment we are ready for some other spring!

Rusty had a good night sleeping between his beans with his head on his little green pillow. He ate all his nighttime food and has eaten most of his breakfast so far this morning. He's enjoying the sunshine on his perch over the radio. Edward just finished baking a loaf of bread. The house smells good! This afternoon the Mets and Yankees are playing a spring-training game and I plan to watch! It will be Opening Day before we know it!

Wishing all a fine day and continuing to send healing vines to all kitties and beans who are under the weather,

Yum does that bread come with homemade jam?
My nephew is just entering UNC this summer on a scholarship and is currently in the 7th round draft of the MLB. He is going to become and engineer first though so his draft spot may go up. We of course want him to be a twin and he wants to be a yankee. :)

Exciting about your nephew! What position does he play? (The Mets need good young players.)

The bread is eaten with peanut butter and orange marmalade (neither of them homemade).
 
It sounds like Rusty is having a good morning. I hope he slides down. Enjoy the Spring training game. I'm getting excited for Opening Day. Just two more weeks.

A Blue start for Ruisty today. As I remember he was in the lagoon yesterday? Sorry I missed all of yesterday. The boys and their mom and dad were over, so that took care of any condo visits for me. ;)

Hooray for sunshine! but I am also so sure you are all tired of the cold, want the warm, and the emergence of spring. Ours is so early this year, even the mountain hikes are opening early. I will try to enjoy some of our warmer than usual weather for you.

Oh major yum on the smell of freshly baked bread. I just love that aroma, and keep thinking I so need to bake more... Nothing beats homemade bead. :joyful:

So true on baseball's opening day. It is almsot April! :cool: Batters up!

Sounds like a relaxing Sunday.
I'm glad to hear that Rusty is eating good and enjoying the sun.
 
Who can ask for anything more on a Sunday!. Cat in the lagoon, warm sunny spring day (OK, relatively warm for you), the smell of home made bread and a good game to watch. :)
 
@mariko Hi Mariko, How is Cashmere? Been thinking about her (and you, of course).
@Linda and Scooter & Jack All teams always need catchers! and pitchers especially!!

The Mets shut out the Yanks 6-0, had 5 home runs and turned 3 double plays. I hope they can continue this level of play when the season starts!

Cashmere is doing really good, but still softish poop so we have extended the a/b treatment from 10 days to 14 days, plus I am adding probiotic in her daily routine.
I took probiotic off the schedule when I started her on a/b because I didn't want to shove stuff in her mouth 4 times a day, but that was probably a bad idea as I suspected.
I am giving her this probiotic (http://www.olienaturals.ca/pages_pet_products_newbeginnings.htm).
I think it works better than other probiotics I have tried, but it tastes bad bad bad.
Other than the puddin'poo, Cashmere is happy, playful and cuddly.
 
Mmmm I suppose the smell of the freshly baked bread has long since vanished but the thought of it is still making me drool.

Good to see the lagoon Meister was on patrol today :D
