Good morning and happy start to your week!

Pearl is doing ok. Having some odd diarrhea the past two days. Wondering if we are beginning another Pancreatitis or IBD flare. Diarrhea is not typically her m.o. for anything.

Chessie had her recheck at the dentist today...even without the e-collar she did well and had been cleared to start enjoying her hard food again (no idea how that will work with no teeth). She has been having the smelliest gas recently.

So maybe 2 cats and 2 IBD flares? Who knows?!

Thanks Susanne! I've started Pearl of Jarrow's S.B. + MOS tonight. She has never needed it before, but I hope it will work for her.

Paws crossed! Have you seen the FFL Blog or the ibdkitties info? If active diarrhea you can try the emergency stop directions (I've never had to do this though I did up Jax's dose when he was on clindamycin after his dental and it helped keep things together!). FWIW I have both my kitties on the maintenance dose (1/4 capsule bid - I just mix it into breakfast & dinner).

Thanks!, and yes I"ve seen the ibdkitties info. Chessie actually gets 4 capsules daily. If I try to reduce the diarrhea comes back. I started Pearl last night on 1 with some pumpkin. So far she has now had a very small but solid poop. So I don't know if that means it is working or if I'm in for an eruption later on today. I was thinking with Pearl for now to get her up to 2 and see how she handles it? WHat is so odd, for both of these girls, is that their current IBD symptoms are totally out of their usual symptoms (Pearl doesn't get explosive diarrhea generally, and Chessie now getting GAS, that is sooo not normal!) Makes me wonder if I need some bloodwork at least on Pearl.
