We are going on 3 days of the 0.5u dose and for the past two cycles he has been riding the greens :RAHCAT

I am so happy for my boy. Its been a long year, but we are finally doing well cat_pet_icon

Wow, great numbers! Although it makes me nervous to shoot on those PS!

What numbers will you look for to make another dose reduction? He is probably at a point where the decreases should be in .1u amounts (.4u being next).

I agree Sheila.... I want to take the dose down nice and slow. I view one 48 as a fluke. If he hits it in successive cycles or his a low 40, then I'll take his dose down. He is an odd ball on dose reductions and has a history of not holding them, so I have to be cautious.

Right now, though I kinda expect lower numbers bc he is being *very* finiky and won't hardly eat anything I put in front of him. Yesterday I got him to eat by putting one crunchie on top of his wet food, but that didn't fly today. He wanted nothing to do with any type or flavor of wet food I put down and only wanted either a crunchie or MC gravy food, but I don't want him to dine only on that. We'll see how the day goes.

You know Sheila, I forgot about the freeze dried chicken treats. I think I still have a container of those on the shelf! He will eat the high carb crunchies or the gravy foods, but if you put it on top of the LC stuff he turns his nose up at it. Forti flora used to be my fail safe, but even that isn't working! He even turned his nose up at sour cream yesterday :o

He picked at his raw food this morning and the DH just got him to pick at some Blue Wilderness Salmon too. A couple of crunchies got him to eat some this morning, but he ate around the crunchies ohmygod_smile I just don't understand him sometimes .... its like there is a clogged hose in the hoover

I forgot to add that he hit a 33 yesterday, but that was because he isn't really wanting to eat. I skinnied up the dose last night because of that though. We might have to bring it back up once his appetite comes back.

We were in the low 100s yesterday evening and today so far, but that is probably a mini bounce from the 33.

He doesn't get pancreatitis does he? The lower appetite is exactly what Beau does when he is having a flare.

Not that I know of. Plus his numbers aren't higher.

The freeze dried chicken did the trick tonight though. I broke up half a chunk and put it on top of his food and he licked the bowl clean
