3/22 Moe: AMPS 424;+3=398;+6=440;+9=515;PMPS=463;+4=463

Good morning all. We have our lowest AMPS in a week at 424. Moe’s feeling pretty bad, though. He sleeps on the dining room table (who am I kidding? it’s the cats’ room). He managed to jump down but had to stop and rest about ten feet away in the foyer. I served his breakfast there, and he’s eating well, so that’s good.

Moe's nadir seems early to me. His lowest reading seem to be consistently between +3 and +6. I thought it was usually around +8 or 9 with basaglar?

Basaglar should be like Lantus, so "typical" nadir around +6. However, it's really hard to figure out when a nadir really is when the numbers are all so high. It'll be easier once he starts showing some blues.

Oh, okay. I don’t know where I got that later time frame for nadir. I feel a little better then. Sure do want to start seeing some lower numbers SOON.

The +8 (ish) nadir is for Levemir. Of course, that is for a typical cat. My girl was never typical. Her nadir on Lantus was around +7-+9 except when it wasn't.
