Yesterday's Condo

Good morning on a dreary grey day.
Perfect to go btb but that is not going to happen

Last night Max went to 69 @ +3 and I fell asleep. Of course DH was still up but did not
test him. At 3am I woke up and yelled at him why he didn't. Gosh a women's work
is never done. At these numbers I need to know if he will hit 40's for decrease or Max
is just content in surfing these safe numbers.

Max has been very vocal in the late nights and mornings, yeowling away. I have no idea what
that's about. He even gave me a surprise last night when he showed up in my bedroom
while I got ready for bed. Wow, Max actually walked a flight of stairs. :-D

I wanted to move the litter nox back downstairs cuz I need my dining room next week which is
where the LB is now. Plus he needs the excersise but i forgot. Better start that process tonight
and cross my fingers he doesn't find the floors again.
His water consumption is down but still big clumps in the LB.
Breakfast is done, he came to eat in the kitchen with one of his sisters and now
back to his catbed.

Holidays are coming--I need the dining room too ! So I understand, but why start now, let Max relax till a couple of days before the day...Oh well, I spring it on my furbabies the day befoore or the day of, but believe me, when they see me cooking for a very small army, they suspect!!

Stu thinks we're having company every time I clean the house (tells you how often I clean!). Tell that Mr. Max that stairs are good for him!!

And I am so worried for tonight. I have to leave Max right after his shot and won't be back home until after a +3, and no one will be home. DD is in fashion show tonight.

My 3 kitties do not know what "company" means. I try and not entertain too much.
So it will be fun when 10 people arrive in the dining room next week and his LB finds a new home. Max will not be plesaed.
I am just picturing the looks on everyone's face when I have to get up from the table so
I can go and test/feed/shoot Max.
Yup, can just see it ow.
 
Yay, we are finally back.
DD was amazing in the fahion.

Looks like Max held his own while we were out.
I left lots of food but you never know.

I am still trying to understand wha the next steps are with Max. Do I still need to worry and
wait for +6's although he is now nadiring closer to +5.

Just wondering how long we stay on this dose, assuming he does not go below 50 and
his numbers are in normal range.

I know, sorry. Just I am so used to the rules going forward, thought I would get the mindset shifted for the down as I still look at him in wonder.
I just never know when it's okay to go to sleep??
 
it looks to me like you can sleep after +3 or +4, unless Max is being dramatic that night. Also, when they get on very small doses, a lot of cats stop going under 50, so that trick might be over with (or maybe not, max is a cat and he'll do what he wants, some cats do still drop on low doses).

Really at this dose and these numbers, you can relax a little bit and just wait for Max to show us the next step.

I was thinking that with a small dose going below 50 would be harder to do but as you
say, we are talking about a cat, lol.

Max is very happy, I just topped him off with some LC and the rest is in the feeder.
So if they don't normally go below 50 then a decrease would be earned after 7 days with normal numbers? That would include some blue below 120.?

Offer it as a party trick.. that's what I do with company.. the conversations that come before, during and after are simply too entertaining to pass up :)

My favourite so far is my dad watching me test.. you know a daughters father.. has to be tough and brave so he simply couldn't refuse watching.. "well that doesn't seem so hard!" "want to try?" "NO!".

Most people comment how I'm so lucky to have such a patient cat and their cat would NEVER tolerate it.. I still have scars (not attacks, just her trying to get away) to prove how wonderfully Nova "tolerated it" when we started :).
 
Randi--I'm going to have to do the same--One night we are going at 4 & leaving at 7 :lol: :lol: :lol: Told them--Hey I gotta be home for our cat-Great escae!
Monday nite having 7 peeps, the cats will be thrilled--I'll get up during dinner & say, sorry gotta do the cat!!
