Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good!

I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. It was a good one here yesterday. It was very much a water day here yesterday, what with swimming in the morning, and swimming again in the evening. BUSY!!!!  The weather was decent too yesterday. Good enough that we were able to manage a picnic lunch out on the grass at the pool after our marathon swim session. FUN! Nicholas's dad came with us, which was really cool, as that meant that William got to swim too. We seem to have another water baby on our hands! William did all of the water time that Nicholas and his dad did. wow - that was close to four hours in the morning. Granted he was out for a short nap in between sessions, but still hung in there. Yupp: another water baby! After the morning into early afternoon swim, we came back to the house, hoping to get Nicholas to nap. His dad laid down with him. That was so cute. For both of them Swimming was hard work! Swimming was as good as it always is. The energizer fishie was in his element. I still love that drive from the pool to his house: 30 minutes of little guy stories, my little back seat driver! Quite the imagination he has. He still looks forward to our after swim Friday Night Burger Feast too. That is just so fun: burgers and fries, in the car, in the dark, just him and me, with lots of fun stories. This is what a wrote about the day in last night's post: " I-) I-) I-) I-) I-) I-) I-) I-) I-) what a day. we really had a great time. We made our normal pool time, closed out one session, and then another. that was nuts, lol. Jason was great. he's very good at going with the flow, and loved being with his kid, in the pool, seeing what he can do. it was fun for him. that had to be close to 4 hours in the water this morning. i thought for sure he would be done, but nope as we are eating lunch he says ok dad, terrace pool tonight OK? lol. dad bagged out of that one, and I really don't think he expected dad to go anyways. that was another hour in the water, man, I bet that kid sleep swell tonight. Nicholas made his first trip down the tube slide today too, the smaller of the two of them. sheshhh he loved that. dad went with him, well right behind him as they don't allow tandem. that was really cool to watch, william was great - right in there with the rest of them until he got tired. So he slept on my chest/shoulder while jason and Nicholas played session two with the lazy river and the slides.. they were half way through session two when Nick comes up to me and ways "just wait grammie. we are not done yet, Ok?"  guess so. i still can't believe that he wanted to go back later and swim terrace, and did so with a much enthusiasm as he had at 9 this morning. WOW! Picassa link tomorrow. Now I'm off to bed... this grammie is TIRED. duh....."

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   What to say about the kitties.... They have been good kitties, and even Lola! Well sorta on Lola... Lola will always be Lola. Crazy fun Lola. When I got home last night I watched Bug, once again, continue to maneuver Lola into runs and romps. That is so fun to watch. Elsa just watches, trying to decide what on earth they are doing at such a late hour. I did get her to join in on one of the romps though. She ran once, and then looked at me with that "Well? You satisfied now?" look.  I told her it was ok, and go ahead and go to bed. Mama was coming to join her shortly. There was nothing amiss when I got home, just kitties waiting at the top of the stairs. Just as it always is. LOVE THAT! Lola was rolling on the stairs, Bug was pacing, and Elsa was just sitting with that stare: where have you been? They defintely have adjusted to the late Friday nights. I get a few meows, some leg rubs, they get scritches in return, and then off they go. DH fed them so there was no worry over them producing that "blood oath", they had full bellies... They did greet me, and were off on this awesome marathon run and chase, warp speed, a continuous chase for close to 10 minutes, one that included furniture jumps, floor sliding, rug curling, and stair hopping, and a few crashes...  and one plant attack by Lola. That was so crazy, and pretty normal for Friday nights now. Normalcy in MusketeerVille this morning!

Have a great day everyone! It will be a normal Caturday here: shopping, laundry errands, all those things I never get done when I have the boys. Catch up day! and recovery day from three very busy days with the boys. :-D Time permitting, and weather, I may go for a short hike though the woods to the shore later today. ;-) Bug and Lola have a vetty appt this morning - time for their annual checkups. oh fun.... hope they do well. I am sure they will.

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN cat_pet_icon

Re: 3/22 LOOSE LIPS: pools, pools, & more pools! Happy Catur

What a great day for the boys and their dad! William definitely looked quite at home in the water. Dad looked pretty impressed at how good Nicholas is. :-D And love the napping pictures, everyone took a nap, except grammie!! We know where Nicholas gets his energy from :-D
Have a wonderful Caturday, Michelle, and thank for the pictures. I so wish we had something like that near us. My part of FL is geared towards seniors, not children

Hi Jane ~O) ~O) ~O) It was such a fantastic day, for dad, and for the boys. it has been a while since Jason has been able to see Nicholas inaction, short of eh videos. He was impressed by all that he can do. William had such a good time too - amazing that a nine month old could last as long as he did, without begin fussy. That was great. I had to alugh when they all went down for a nap, except for me.   THX too on the pics. I have another friend in FL who says the same thing... seniors, not so much for kids. I am glad to share my adventures!

How nice that William got to swim too. It sounds like everyone had a great time. How funny dad joined Nicholas for a nap. I hope Bug and Lola's check-ups went well this morning.

Hi Michelle,
Those are terrific swim pics! I'll bet Jason was impressed with how far Nicholas has progressed. I'm impressed that William is getting pool time in and loving the water. No nap for grammie, huh?

I hope the vetty check-ups went well. Have a great weekend, hopefully with a hike.

Hugs, scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Thank you Elsa for the extra ~O) . So good. You are a good skier!

What fun times you have with your boys during the day and then the furbabies when you get home!!

I always call my daughter over to my computer to watch the videos you put up of the kids. I showed her the one of Nicholas getting chastised by the lifeguard. Danielle told me I have to stop having her watch these videos because it just makes her want babies so badly!!! For the record, she's not only NOT MARRIED, but doesn't have a boyfriend at this time!!! (She's only 22 so I can wait). Nicholas and William are just the cutest kids!!!

Re: 3/22 LOOSE LIPS: pools, pools, & more pools! Happy Catur

Hi everyone! I hope your afternoon has been a good one. weather as ok here. maybe 52, overcast skies, no sun, but at least it didn't rain. :-D :-D :-D it was an ok Saturday here. I managed to get the shopping done before the vet. Vet went OK, they are fine, expected as much, Bug was so scared up there he peed all over himself. poor guy. i need to get his teeth cleaned, so we will do that in a few weeks. It was nice to hear too that his murmur does not seem to have progressed. Lola, the crazy one as fine too. SHeshhh - she was all over that vet exam room: into the cupboards, climbed anything she could find to climb, curled up in a shelf of a wall bookcase, tossed a few papers. sat on their computer. she had a grand time. I did what i had to control her, but wow: she was wired. I finally just let her roam and explore. you gotta love it.I didn't do much with the rest of the day I did make it out, and went to the woods and the shore: my outdoor time for today. It was a nice "hike". Tide was way out so that was kinda cool. Back home and done by 4PM. I maybe did 5.5 miles, felt like I had done 20. crazy, I guess I was more worn out form the boys than I thought.  I will post the Picassa link in tomorrow's condo.

Hi Carla -yes, that was so cine. it was a great opportunity to get him in the pool too. He had fun, alot for him to explore. We really did have a great time, a lot of fun when we can all go together. I thought so too on the naps/ and yes - they both passed vetty!

Hi Ella - THX on the pics. There are way too many of them,. I didn't realize how many I had taken until I uploaded them from the camera. And yes on Jason - he truly was impressed, and kept saying "wow - look at that!" It was so nice to be able to take William too. I was pleased that he liked it as much as he did. only one cry, when he was tired and someone splashed him,. ;-) nope, no rest for the weary!  THX too on the vetty - they did well, all is well too.
Auntie Ella - THX! I LIKES skiing! it was so fun! see you tomorrow! ~~ Elsa, KBP

Hi Patty - THX for teh visit! THX, I love the things that life has given me to do: boys are so fun, and then kitties at home. all is really good. How fun on your DD, and that she watched those vids. i remember that - the poor kid, and errrr on that lifeguard. ih well, only doing their job i guess. :-D on the marital status etc. plenty of time for all of that! :-D THX too on Nicholas and William - i too think they are cuties.
