Daphne ate all her breakfast. I told DH to put it in two dishes 1/4 can in one, and 1/4 can in the other :lol: It worked, I heard some others say this, that they look at all that food and just can't imagine eating it all, so they walk away, but when they just see a little less, I guess its not so overwhelming. And then of course as usual, tomorrow because, "she's a cat", I know she is not going to prove my experiment :lol:

Have a great day everyone. It's beautiful in NJ @ 76 and sunny, but I can't go outside because my allergies are so bad. Oh well :YMSIGH:

Her numbers look great. Maybe that's Racci's problem too. I'll try it. She's so picky. She has a new thing. She refuses the bowl the first time until I 'fix' it. I have to take it in the kitchen and make a production of doing something to it and bring it back, then she'll eat it ! Spoiled or what? :lol:

Melanie, that is so funny! :lol: I have to actually make little chunks, the size of a bite, and make a space in between each one, and not too far from the edge, cause she doesn't like to have to reach too far in her plate, it musses up her chin fur. :lol: What did you say about spoiled? :lol:

Oh, and dinner time, she only ate from one plate, and took maybe a bite from the other :YMSIGH:

I wonder what she'll train me to do tomorrow? :lol:
 
This is so funny. We often joke about how we didn't put the bowl down in the "right" spot. Just pick it up, move it a couple inches, and voila....kitty will eat! mind you, it sometimes takes 3 or 4 tries to find the right spot. They KNOW they're in charge!
 
Yup, she has me on my toes!

It was so funny, tonight I did move the one plate kind of half way in the door way of the kitchen and hall, so she was going to walk by it, and stopped, :o and ate two more mouthfuls of food. :lol: It was pretty funny to watch her surprise to see it there :lol: We know they are "managing" us, not the other way around, but we can at least have some fun with it :-D

Sorry your allergies are keeping you indoors, Barb. Hope they clear up soon so that you can enjoy the warm weather.

Do you think it might be possible to get a late night test sometime this weekend, or a couple of them (like +6 or later)? Her night cycles are so different than her day cycles that I'm curious what her numbers are doing overnight.
 
Libby, I would be happy to do that, if you think you can figure this puzzle out for me, I would LOVE IT!

I was just saying to DH tonight that I'm not sure what else we can do to get her AMPS to look like her PMPS. As you can see its been like this for a while and I take notes all day, and write down whats going on, how she eats… I have strange sleep times, I sleep between around 2 AM to 1 PM. Lately I've been getting up at +3 (AM) since she has been in the 50's, and don't want to sleep through that, and then btb for me. The only real reason I don't get as many +7 (PM)…is because she sleeps so sound around this time of night, and so I hate to bother her, but now listening to my own words here, I think I could wake her up for a test or two, :lol: after all, I get up from my sound sleep in the AM right?

OK, like I said, I'm up anyway, so I'll do a few tonight. I do see on her SS that she is around 80's at +5, +6… I also see that she really isn't that different @ her + 6, +7….when I did do some in the PM. I have a feeling that she may just make this bounce at maybe +10 and +11. It may be hard for me to get the +10 though, I may not be able to stay awake that long… sometimes I keep myself awake till 5:30 AM on Sat. or Sun. to give DH a brake, and instead of me going to bed at 2, I just stay awake till 5:30, and then DH does the 8:30 AM, so I'll see when I do that, I may be able to get a few.

All the cat eating stories are quite hilarious today :lol: I do think it's ok for you to wake Princess Daphne for an evening test or two, Vyktor sometimes sleeps right through his. Maybe she will too if you can test her wherever she's sleeping. For me this sometimes involves holding a small flashlight in my mouth to get sufficient light.

You missed the URLs for your yesterday again...
