I have no idea what's going on.
He was so much better at 4U.
He does nothing but eat, sleep and potty.
He is also back to occasionally sleeping at his water fountain with his head resting on the edge of it.
He hadn't done that in a while.

So either :
1) 4U was the best dose
2) He is nowhere near his most effective dose
3) He has become insulin resistant
4) Or I am driving myself overly crazy.

I just want him to start feeling better.

I hope he does start to feel better soon. Please try not to look back on what a previous dose did...those numbers are history and things change. You'll see over time their needs for insulin go up and down. In the best case scenario what may have been a perfect dose one day is too much the next! That's the beginning of the trip down the dosing ladder on the road to recovery. Claudio is just not there yet and needs more insulin to help him to absorb nutrients as his pancreas isn't helping at all right now.

It's only been a few months...give it time....please try to be patient and keep up the great job with testing. One day he'll surprise you...but it does take time, patience and diligence. Just keep doing what you're doing... :)

Thanks Sue.
It's been 7 months and there doesn't seem to be much change. :(
On another note, my civie jumped up next to me. So I figured I'd get a test on him, fully expecting an attack.
Surprise !! He sat there there as good as gold. And his number was 61. :D
