3/22: cedric amps 253, +2 235, +6 211, more

I am a bit sick and since i stayed home today from work I decided to do a curve. His shot time was moved today because I have to work at 5am tomorrow. So amps was at 5am EDT, +2 was at 7am and +6 was at 11, since i was at the doctor's office at 9am.

Sorry to read you are sick, bit it is nice to be able to get a curve in....though Cedric doesn't seem to be dropping much - or is he one of those "late" kitties? Still, yellow is a lovely color for spring and hopefully there will be some blue in there as well.

I will be giving him his next shot at 4:30pm, since his am shot tomorrow will be at 4am.
So, cjleo, you think he needs to go back up to1 unit? Mel?

I know I can do this, but do you think you could do either a .8-.9ish or basically a skinny 1u. I have just a cut feeling his ideal dose, since you can't be there with him to steer with food, is somewhere inbetween .75 & 1u. Let me see if I can find Sheila's post with the pictures of her microdosing that she taught me.

Here it is...Mircodosing pictures. Sheila has some really good pictures of how to fine tune a dose with adding and subtracting a drop.

Since his curve is basically flat, I do agree with Mel that Cedric needs a little more insulin. Can you try the microdosing and aim for 8.5 to 9.0? Should be safe while you are away.

If the numbers don't change in the next week (given you need to change dosing times), then I would think about going back to 1 unit.

thanks for the link - i bookmarked it - and the advice. I did not go to work today and called out for tomorrow too. I am on 3 meds and still coughing. more on today's condo.
