All I can say about that AMPS is ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ...and where is MY TrixieCat?? I honestly can't remember the last time we saw the pink floor...I would have to dig out last year's SS to find it, it has been that long. I'm hoping and assuming this is related to yesterday's Cowboy Cookout. She wasn't thrilled with the chunks, especially at dinner, but she ultimately did nibble on them throughout the evening - and she never made it off the yellow floor. So, Cowboy Cookout is totally out.

Fortunately, she's working her way down. Today was back to Friskies T&G. I need to go get some more fuds soon...study the list some more to see if maybe there are one or two more flavors she might like. Overall, she's doing fairly well with the variety - not being too picky - and I'm not sure what to do about her dose. She had such a great surf the other day, so once the Cookout clears her system, I'll have a better picture. Despite the numbers, she is her happy purry self, helping me with her condo as I speak. Sweet, sweet girl.

It's Thursday...my late night at work. I love my job, but I dread this day every week! Have a great one, LL!

Hi guys .. ouch! It's hard seeing trixie up that high .. I hope she comes back down once those fuddies are out of her system .. I know it's tough but you're doing a great job at managing it all amy! have a great day guys!

Hi Amy, that was probably CC. I've been using it sparingly. It's good for adding more moisture to another flavor food. It does look like she's coming down on a nice slide. Hope your day went well.

Oh wow on that amps... I had to read that several times.... well, no more CC for Trixie! Mannie does eat that one too, always been on his to go list, but I know I run the risk if higher BG's with him when he does. Though of late everything is high with him.... :roll: :roll: Very nice though that overall she is doing well with the choices she has. That is nice.

Nice to see she is headed down.

I guess I won't be so anxious to try the CC. I know ECID, but why chance it. I'm glad Miss Trixie did come down today, and tonight's number is certainly better than this morning's.

That's a bummer about the CC.
Ripley isn't crazy about the chunks, either. She saves them for last, then eats them later. "Oh, all right, if I hafta..."

You'll find something soon, or some combination that works well for Trixie ~ until she changes her mind :lol: .

Hi Amy,

Rusty loves Cowboy Cookout, but vomits it up immediately!! It doesn't like him (I'm pretty sure he's allergic to beef). Good luck with finding just the right combination of fuds for Trixie. Have you tried using the hard-boiled egg whites in her food? Apparently they function like a phos. binder.

I'm sorry that Trix had such a high AMPS, but she came down OK. I know how you feel about those atypical numbers. Thanks for visiting Rusty today. And guess what? He's made it into the lagoon at PMPS!!!
