3/20 Condo

Tess is inhaling breffus, first serving licked clean and just added a little chicken. WCR cuddly and purry even during test, pooped twice yesterday so no action there this AM. Grooming now while waiting to go BTB We've gotten the shot back to 5:00am and will gradually nudge it back to 6:00am over the next week. I might be able to stay up then.

Nice AMPS Tess! Good luck with moving the shot time...DST threw me into a tizzy...I had to create a post-it for every shot time cause I would forget - especially in the AM and fall back into the routine. :lol:

I just had to move Moonie's time from 7:15 to 6 o clock,over the last few days--That waking so early is a killer for me--You too?
But Hey! We just gotta do it for them--Great numbers as usual--Have a great Sunday :mrgreen:

Tess is disgusted w/ me on the computer all the tim and has gone BTB again on her own. Actually I've got to get outside and do some work or we will be totally engulfed in weeds.

We were down to one can of Wellness,Chicken and Herring at 6%, and her numbers are up a little again. She seems to be really sensitive to even slightly higher carbs. Trying to decide if ordering from PetFoodDirect w/ free shipping is worth it and just what we should buy whole cases of.

I would love to do 6&6 but even that 6am scares me.

Boy, look at Tess....very nice amps there young lady!!

Ann, not sure exactly how many carbs are in the By Nature Organics, but it's gluten free, so I figured that it would be A-ok for Spot to eat. The regular By Nature 95% wheat, corn, grain free I'm not to sure about, but I've given it to Spot and I didn't see any changes in his bg's.

Randi, we were 4:00am!!! It was killing me. :shock: I'd like to get to 6:00, DH is usually up around then. He can make sure I get up, poor dear. We may hold off to see if that's why Tess is running higher again. That and I'll give her a really low carb food for dinner, see if that makes a difference. Tess seems to object to any little change that isn't her choice. She really takes her time adjusting to a doserease. This was good for long enough that i thought it would take, but maybe not. We'll see in a cycle or 2.

Unfortunately, I'm gone for a long weekend again next weekend. Big bonsai show in LA.

Wow! :o I tried FF flaked fish & shrimp at 0% carbs for dinner afterPMPS and look what happened at +3~87! First time in green today. :mrgreen:

She is really sensitive to carbs, This morning I fed her Wellness Chicken and Herring at 6% carbs and rising numbers all AM. Is this typical?

Yay Tess! Green is the color tonight! I did not know that FF had 0% carb flavors? What other one's besided the flaked fish and shrimp are there? I am going to buy some!!

Are you talking about the FF appetizers? Tugger adores those. I wasn't sure what the carb content of them might be but they look like meat to me. The juice is the only thing that I wasn't very sure of. You can hear his motor running from the next room when I crack one of those open though!

Of course it could be a coincidence, her PS had come down a bit, but I'll take green however it comes.

J&B's old list has most of the FF flavors listed, but the list is old and things might have changed. Anyway, according to it the Flaked Ocean Fish is also 0%. Unfortunately, most of the really low car foods are fish, which you really shouldn't feed more than once or twice a week, heavy metals. :YMSIGH: Nothing is easy. It looks like Sophisticat from Petsmart has a few 0% that aren't fish though. More shopping!

FYI the Petco near here has Wellness for $1.29/5.5oz can and there is a 10% off coupon that you can print from the website. That's less to start with than PerFoodDirect and you don't have to buy 24 of each flavor.

Yes Sienne, we'll do a +5 and +7. Marvie, it's the regular cans, blue label. The Appetizers should be pretty low, I can't see what else in them has carbs. Not complete nutrition and pretty expensive though. I use them as treats or to get a few extra calories in Tess when she is picky.

Thanks for the info, hope your night goes well, Scrabble is keeping me busy as well! Do you feed any of the sophisticat flavors, I saw them in petsmart and they are cheaper than ff, I will check the list to see. I may pick up a couple of the flaked fish one's too to try, my cats aren't very picky which is good!!!

Tess absolutely inhaled it tonight, you can see chunks of fish and shrimp in it. Actual identifiable ingredients, imagine that. :o I plan on trying the Sophiticat, always forget my list though. Petco has a store brand too.
 
Still going gently down. :mrgreen: Do you think it could just be the food or was she headed down anyway?

I looked up the Petco brand, Soulistic, not really cheap and only one flavor w/ no fish or Pumpkin!

I'll get a +7 and then to bed, unless she pulls a fast one, not usually her style though. Tess likes to wait until I miss the +10 or 11 and then nail me w/ a low number on the preshot. :roll:
 
Nice green Tess!! Scrabble is surfing the greens too, I am off to bed now, see ya in the am! I went to the food charts and wrote down the sophisticat brands to try, I will let you know if they like them and am going to get the ff 0 carb one's too!
