Yesterday
Morning! Raja has 3 Ps so far today. she wandered out for breffis instead of me having to go fetch her. A great sign while she is having this Pancreatitis flare and the UTI as far as I am concerned. Previously, she had waited in her basket or her house, not really appearing ready to eat anything. So, at least when she came on her own accord, it showed that she had sufficient hunger!! That's more like my usual sweet Raja!!
She is the Queen of Hearts--- and Healthy Appetites--- around this place for sure!!! :mrgreen:
It has killed me to see her not eating!!!!!! SO not like her!!

Anyway, we managed to get the Pepcid AND the Clavamox pills into her twice yesterday so it was a successful day. I was thrilled last night with the two of them eating and getting the meds ok. Today is a new day though. We do the meds at noon and midnight so I am preparing for battle as I type. LOL.

Today I might go out for myself...taking the advice of my friends Ella & roni from yesterday's condo... LOL. Yeah right. Going out will involve going to Walmart for more food for my kitties as well as fitting in a visit around the corner to the vet with Shadow for a B12 shot demonstration. LOL.
ETA: Somehow, I guess they meant that I should go out and do something for myself
But actually, having enough cat food in the house IS something for my own peace of mind...and I will feel good if I can help them feel good with the B12 shots... :lol:

Wishing for her to make a full and speedy recovery, and am sending tons and tons of healing vines your way. I also kills me to see my cats not eating, either. It's so darned heartbreaking and you feel so helpless do to anything. I'm so glad to hear that she's doing much better. I can't ever imagine my Blackie not eating. She's so food driven it's not funny. Well.. Maybe a bit funny... Ok... a LOT funny. :lol:

Hi guys .. oh yay! I'm so glad raja is starting to act like her old self again .. must be that excellent care she is receiving .. ;-) Enjoy the time out today, even if it is all for the kitties! Have a great day guys!
 
I'm glad Raja is eating and feeling more like herself.

I just fill the syringe with the B12 and inject it in the scruff. Let me know if they show you something different in the B12 Demonstration.

I am so glad that Queen Raja has deigned to eat again! Hopefully she will continue to please her attendant! :smile: I can picture you getting ready for pill time!!
Although I wouldn't consider a trip to Walmart the same as "getting out", at least it will get you out of the house. Maybe Roni and I should have worded it "stepping out"? Whatever. Enjoy your shopping, your B-12 demo, and maybe a walk, or a cup of coffee in a cafe, or tea in a tea room. And come home to happy kitties.

Hi Pat......oh I'm so happy for you, to hear that Raja is eating. That is such a good sign that her tummy isn't hurting.
That she came out to eat, instead of you going to find her, or serve her, wherever she happens to be, is fantastic. :-D

Wonderful that you're getting meds in her too. That ain't always easy, I know.

I consider a trip to WalMart, as 'going out'. Stocking up on cat food is a 'fun' day out, for me :lol:
 
I missed your condo yesterday and just got caught up. So sorry about the ptits and UTI. Healing vines for Raja and a big hug for you!!
 
Hi Pat, so sorry about Raja and the pancreatitis. It sounds like you are getting them both on the mend. Your getting out is similar to mine, errands for the kitty. :lol: I hope if you didn't do something nice for yourself today that you will soon. Sending healing vines to Raja.
