Most of the day spent in normal numbers so pretty happy about that. Thanks for asking Ella, mum is managing quite well now. At the start, like most of us, she thought she wouldn't be able to but Purrdy is very obliging. Also mum used to have problems getting back to sleep once she woke but her brain has adjusted and last night she was able to get up around 2am get the test go back to sleep, get up around 5am for t/f/s and get straight back to sleep and then wake up of her own accord about 8.30 as fresh as a daisy
Thanks everyone for all the information (yay for the compounding pharmacies!) - which is slowly being absorbed - and the good wishes for my little Vyktor boy. The threat of another suppository was on the table for today (my Saturday) as no poop since Tuesday but the threat worked and we had good quality and quantity poop this morning even if it was done in two parts. His pain levels have clearly decreased based on how he is eating (not as much pawing at his face or crying/growling) but the poor little fella did cry out after a yawn
I am getting plenty of love and purrs though 
The histo came back with - lymphoplasmacytic and ulcerative stomatitis. My research tells me that another virus that can cause this is calicivirus, including contact with the vaccine. Not sure whether the histo people tested for that, I hope so because Meg rabbit gets vaccinated for that so potentially a problem there - not that knowing that would help much with treatment.
The vet says his bloods (don't have a copy yet) were unremarkable with the exception of his BG which was, I think around 210. I am not at all concerned about that as his BG at home a couple of days before was 67. I think the vet is pretty shocked that vetty stress can make that much difference and is not convinced but I know my meter's fine since it was checked against Purrdy's recently.
I have 'opened a can of worms' (vets words) with my request for B12 and folate checks. B12 is low (147, should be 290) but folate is high. So Vyktor will be having a course of B12 injections and an US in due course, we will organise that when he goes back for his check up in about a week and a half. Could be caused by not eating enough, insufficient pancreatic enzymes so not absorbing enough (more common in dogs but a possibility in a cat with a history of pancreatitis), gut bacteria issues (unlikely because no diarrhea - I can't even get the spelling close enough for the auto correct to know what to do!), or small cell lymphoma. I'm going to assume it's from not eating enough for now as I have enough to worry about already!
