Yesterday, Neko's musical balloon ride up.

3/20 Recap:
AMPS 190 +9 291
PMPS 298 +9 185

Last night I started a new cartridge. Dunno if that was the answer, but things sure look much better in blue this morning. Neko's currently on the bed with the green towel in the solarium, so I'm hoping she's thinking BG lowering thoughts.

I didn't get much sleep last night. It started with the sound of a hairball hack an hour before we were supposed to get up for rowing. I didn't find it - until later, but both Neko and Theo thought that me being up meant attention. Or food. :p I couldn't get back to sleep due to a purring civie on my chest so that rowing alarm came mighty early.

Happy Caturday everyone!

Well, I can think of better ways to wake up! I hope that rowing was extra good today to make up for lack of sleep.
Neko, you going to surf in the lagoon later? Rusty is almost there (but still on the shore).
Have a fine evening, guys,

Hugs, scritches,

Ella & Rusty

What a beautiful start to the day for little Miss Neko! Ack- I hate that sound of the kitty hacking up a furball .. at least you didn't step in it... Hope you had a wonderful time out on the water- it has been a beautiful day once the winds died down!

I can't count how many times I've been awakened by the sound of someone hacking up a hairball and made a mental note to watch for it when I get up, then been unable to find it in the light of morning! Of course, they always turn up eventually.

Green blanket, do your thing. Subliminal messages are heading your way, Neko - let's see some green numbers now!

It's that time of year for hairballs. Hope you had a good day for rowing. Snowing here again
tonight. Getting sick of the white stuff. Come on Neko bring those numbers down.

Good boy Neko!! I often wonder about changing cartridges to if the strength of the insulin is better.

I hope you day was amazing. I know rowing out there is a time to see great beauty all around. :)

Better than yesterday, but still not normal Neko. I whispered the words "thinking about a dosecrease" in her ear while I was testing. Let's see what she does with that.

@ Ella, Delia, Marilyn, Ruth, Tricia, Peg, Linda, Carla - Well, she isn't listening to any of us. If the insulin was bad, then it'll take a while to get the depot back. I have had a couple of cartridges go off before. It just seems weird that a dose that was getting her regularly into the 70's would go bad so fast. But this is Neko and sometimes she just decides she needs more juice. Rowing was generally good water, but it's still dark for the first half. Our boat missed a boat killing log in the water by less than a boat length (bow person saw it when it would have been too late). On the way back a nearby freighter tooted it's very loud horn, made us jump! Not sure the neighbours appreciated that noise at 6:30 on a Saturday. It's not like we couldn't see him, and we weren't that close - nor was anyone else.

Wow, I thought boating was a relaxing sport!
Sounds a bit hair raising to me:woot: especially early in the morning!
Come on Neko......do as your momma says:cat:

I hope the threat of an increase works for Neko. My, that sound frightening on the water, good job your lookout is wide awake. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

I hope Neko responds as well to the threat as he has been and I'm so glad you didn't end up swimming instead of rowing
