While the higher carb diet is likely pushing up his BG numbers, the new diet seems to making him feel better. He is a lot more energetic and eating more than with the LC diet. He's back to bossing the other cats around as alpha cat. Maybe he will gain some weight back slowly. The vet said that as long as he stays in the blues we should be fine with the new diet. If he gains his weight back and his appetite returns, I'll try going back to the LC diet and hopefully he should go back to mostly all greens.
