It's been a rough four days or so... I got Jake some catnip and it seems to do the job of gettin' him doped up really good before the pricking. Tonight I really badly bruised his ear, the bruise formed almost immediately after I pricked him with the lancet. I was trying to get a sample from the back of his ear instead of the inside but this didn't work out so good and all I did was succeed in hurting him. Here are his numbers from yesterday:

His numbers have been higher than I would like trying to regulate him into staying in the 200's he was not allowing me to give him another test tonight probably due to the horrible bruise I gave him. Not to mention he's got some really bad diarrhea. I don't know why he has it... it's pretty much the same color and texture as the Innova Evo canned food I give him so I'm worried he's just not digesting... blah! First his poop is too hard and makin' him bleed now it's like friggin' goo! WHAT THE FUDGE!
