Happy Fursday!! Healing vines to all who need them. We hope all went well for Tip today at the dentist.
Oh what fun we had at shot time this morning! There have been two pyrrhuloxias (birds related to cardinals) who have been perching on the outside sill of the living room window thus driving Tobey and Gracie wild. We sat down at our shooting spot this morning (and Tobey always "assists") and I uncapped the syringe, pulled up Gracie's fur to shoot, and all of a sudden all four kitty ears PERKED up and they both took off running as fast as the wind leaving me with sweet Gracie fur between my fingers!! I jumped up and followed them and they must have heard those darn birds at the window (and my ears did not). Fierce hunters those two!! Pacing back and forth on the back of the sofa trying to figure out how to have succulent pyrrhuloxia for breffis instead of WN turkey!!! After a few minutes, the birds took off and I was able to get the jooce in baby girl. But after breffis, she was still wound up and she was flying through this house on those tiny legs and having a blast!
Despite the ugly yellow of yesterday and this morning, she's obviously feeling furbaby fine (thanks, Nicole!) but her lackluster performance last night and her recent bouncy cycles earned her a dose increase today. After she finally settled down on the catio, Mike found her in the position below....she had been bird watching and I have no idea how she got in this position or why she thought it might be comfortable but she laid out there about an hour.   (yes, that is the bottom of her back left foot but she's lying with her chest/tummy down).
Busy day again today....Tobey had a vetty checkup at 10:30, Gussie had an U/S at 12:30, golf lesson, and now we have friends on the way for an early dinner. The boys are great although Tobey has been snuffly headed so he now joins the ranks on Allerplex. Gussie's WBC was elevated in the last bloodwork so they just wanted to be sure there was nothing going on like kidney infection. All is good there
and lymph nodes totally normal...nothing remarkable in U/S so we'll just watch his WBCs.
Hope you've all had a great day and we'll be back for visits tonight!
