Yesterday's Condo

Cliff diving last night, bouncing today. Cinco has been a busy little cat. At least I didn't have to worry about him when we went into Sacramento for a lunch appointment! I can't wait to see what he does tonight! :?

Sasha is still sniffling and sneezing. The little devil spent last night in the guest room, while the humidifier steamed away in our room! She has actually been a little more cooperative today and let me shut her in our bedroom with it. I don't know if it's helping, but I'm telling myself it is. Minka earned herself a visit to the same room with a major coughing fit a little while ago. It's just her COPD acting up, but I figured the moist air would be good for her, too.

Sending healing vines to all in need, and hugs to all their beans. My heart is broken over Cain's crossing the bridge. Major hugs and prayers for Jennifer, who was a superbean through the whole ordeal. :YMHUG:

Have you tried L-lysine for the sniffles? It's an immune system booster. Let me know if you need a link for where to get it.

Hi Tricia! It's good that I am not the only one with a busy cat  . Hopefully tonight won't be a PJ party...I'm sleepy @-)

I hope that Sasha will get some help from the humidifier, and Minka too. Healing vines for all your furbabies have been sent! And totally TGIF, yay, happy Friday! :-D

Ah, these kitties love keeping their beans on their toes. I hope Cinco lets you get some rest tonight while he has a nice safe surf. Sending healing prayers to Shasha and Minka...poor babies. Have a great evening, Tricia!

Thanks for the visits, Amy and Rachel. Not sure where Cinco is headed tonight. I'm prepared for just about anything. He's been pretty flat today, so I'm not expecting any excitement, but.......

In spite of my dismal failure with the Paw Lickin' Chicken yesterday, I tried another new one tonight - Pinnacle Chicken and Ocean Fish. I wasn't sure they'd like it, as they don't care for other Ocean Fish flavors, but this one was a huge hit, and they were all put out when it was gone before they got as much as they wanted (I only buy one can at a time with the new ones). You know what they say - always leave them wanting more! I just added it to my shopping list for tomorrow! :-D

Sasha spent most of the day quietly in the bedroom with the humidifier. At first she didn't want to eat her dinner, but with a little prompting she tasted it and became more enthusiastic. She did not want her pill pockets, though (I cut the AB in half and put it in two pill pockets, since she kept spitting out the whole pill this morning). In a last ditch effort before getting out the pill popper, I sprinkled Forti Flora on them, and poof, they were gone! So glad she likes it, since I want to start giving it to her while she's on the AB.

Hope everyone has a great Friday night with safe surfing kitties!

Re: 3/21 Cinco PMPS 288

Paws crossed for some nice safe but low blues tonight. I saw that 50's surf last night and was so glad it wasn't me.  Done that in the middle of the night before. Inconsiderate cats!

Healing vines to the sniffly herd. WOOT on the new flavor - hope they keep on liking it!

Re: 3/21 Cinco PMPS 288

I was worn out just reading your post! How in the world do you keep up with so much? I am in complete awe. One hateful little kitty is enough to do me in! :-D

Cinco's story literally brought tears to my eyes and goosebumps to my skin. He definitely knew which house to pick!

Re: 3/21 Cinco PMPS 288

Shelly, thank you for the kind words. My brother and in-laws think I'm insane, but fortunately, my DH, sister and sister-in-law understand. I don't do any more than anyone else here on the board that loves their kitties. Some do a great deal more. I have a lot of checklists!!

Harvey is only hateful on rare occasions, and it usually passes quickly. We know some of his triggers and take care to avoid them. The rest of the time, he is a sweet, loving cat (to me - he ignores my DH and hisses at the other cats).

Thanks, Wendy. Fortunately, I'm a night person, so a PJ party is right up my alley. It's the getting up at 0-dark-thirty to give the shot that I'm no good at. Thank goodness my DH handles that! :-D
