Well at least she is starting in the sun today which is better than I thought she would be after her +3 last night. Got my fingers crossed that the new pen will make a difference today.

On a side note: DH just killed a brown recluse spider in our basement...<shiver> ick.

UGH- I think (at least I hope) we don't have those here.......just a lot of camel spiders sadly the furkids aren't doing their extermination job properly......cause they occasionally jump out of the little box and scare the ### out of me.....

There's been a couple of those brown nasties found in our apt building, in the last couple years. :o

Still waiting to see what the exterminator says about the spider I killed in my apt. It's in a ziploc in the manager's office. Looks like a brown recluse to me and the manager, but we want him to see it, to make a positive ID. Bad part? To spray my apt, I have to take all the cats out for the day. Like that's gonna happen. :-Q

Em, where are you located? There is a website that tells if they have been found in your area. I haven't checked it in years, don't know if it's been updated.

At the time it was done, there was none in NC. I think when I found the site, it was about 10 years old and it's been several years since. @-)

Yeah those little suckers give me the hebbie jeebies especially since I was bitten by one last summer and ended up with my right thumb being permenantly crippled due to the nerve damage it did. Which wouldn't be too bad except that I'm right handed.

I'm in Maryland and I don't want to know, lol.......we have Lyme Disease and that's bad enough - I'm really paranoid about deer ticks......not that it helps cause I probably couldn't see them anyhow.

Looks like Autumn is having a nice day, particularly if she's still got a bit to go before nadir. I'm off to play cable TV guy....

Really makes me suspect that last pen was just toast. Since her wonky numbers started when I switched to it and now that I have stopped using it, she is back to her normal pattern again.. I'm still planning on hanging on to it and trying it again down the road to see just to make sure. But looking at her numbers and behavior today makes me suspect it more and more.

Just have to see how she does in the coming days.

Makes sense to me.

I have the vial but its not even half gone yet....I was thrilled to find out that I might get six months out of it....but if I'm still shooting when it gets close I'm going to ask my vet to change it over to the pens.....

And since we are in good but not risky numbers -I am calling it a night and heading to bed early. Even with my Claritin, something has starting growing that is kicking my butt....
