Happy appy, snuggly, spunky, feisty, and anti-jinxes. For those who missed yesterday's update, we took Trix for a BP check and all is good - no need to change her meds, which is a relief. If we had to adjust her meds, we'd have to take her back in a week for a recheck, and I think we're starting to push our luck with the frequency of vetty visits with her. As many of you recall, she tends to develop post-vetty p-titis flare ups and so far we seemed to have dodged that bullet (HUGE anti-jinx) with all the visits we've had so far this year. She wasn't too thrilled about going yesterday, though, so I don't want to push her...praying that we now have a reprieve for her for quite awhile (of course WE still get to regularly go with civvie Frankie now that she has HyperT
. I really hate going to the vet....).
A very old behavior of Trix's has recently returned. When I get up in the morning, (naturally) the first thing I do is head to the bathroom. Trix always used to wait outside the bathroom door for me and then follow me for breakfast prep. She stopped doing that awhile ago...but lately she's been doing it again. Makes me wonder how long she's had some sort of infection that this current AB seems to be tackling...maybe much longer than I thought. Subtle changes in an already-mellow cat are so hard to detect.
Also - anti-jinx, but her snuffles are just about completely gone now. So, I guess that probably was a sinus infection. Vetty was thinking not since 6 weeks of Simplicef didn't result in improvement. But, I guess Trix needed the stronger AB that she's on now.
Today I have to run a few errands before I can head into the studio, so I need to get moving.
Prayers to all....
