Yesterday on Ruby in the Sky with Diamonds, we had a great numbers day but eating did not go as smoothly. She was nauseated after vomiting a few times and took hours to finish her meals. That seems to have gone away this morning as she's already finished her AMPS meal and is sitting on the floor in the kitchen by her feeder patiently blinking at me like I've forgotten something. Today's Caturday cartoon seems fitting.

Katherine, what is the powdered egg yolk for?

Hi Summer, Answering you here so as to not hijack Lyla's thread. The powdered egg yolk is to prevent hairballs and to help with Ruby's constipation. It's also great for her coat, which is super soft and shiny now. I mix it into Ruby's food and she likes it.

Thanks, Summer. We've come a long way and I'm happy to see her looking and mostly feeling well though I worry and fuss when she doesn't.

PMPS = 85. So glad we didn't reduce after that last drop below 50. Ruby seems to be coming down overall. Hope this trend continues.

Hi Katherine. Ruby’s numbers are perfect. Sorry I don’t check in more often. You’ve been so sweet to me and honestly it depends on my pain level. So sorry that Ruby was throwing up and nauseous. Hope you have some cerenia (?) for her. So happy she’s feeling better. I love your cartoons, they make me laugh. I also love the emojis you have on her spreadsheet. I hope you don’t mind if I copy your idea on occasion. It gives such a perfect description of what’s going on in their little body’s. Happy to pass on the hugs, @Our Dolly Girl! I have many meds for Ruby's nausea. Her spells are short lived, usually not more than a day or so and I'm getting better at managing them. I forgot to mention to you that I got the Oxyfresh spray and will be giving it to her to help with her teeth and her breath. It got lots of great reviews, so I'm hoping it will help us and I won't have to put either of us through the agony of brushing. Thank you so much for the recommendation!

Hi again. I don’t remember the spray. I hope it works but if not the water additive has worked for us for 4 years. I can’t imagine spraying something in Dolly’s mouth , I have enough problems with her eye drops, I know she considers it an assault Thanks for the update. Take care you two.
