Ripley stayed in the blues last night, which also seemed to fit her mood. She was snuggly, but moved slowly and had a 'sad' look in her eyes. Maybe not feeling 100%; maybe sad that it started raining last night and she knows that she won't see her precious sun for a day or two (or I could just be projecting my own feelings :lol: ).

This morning, a little perkier. She was alert when I was preparing her meal, but not the squawky/pacing Ripley I know. Her breffis was half Wellness Turkey and half Cowboy Cookout (the most amount of CC in quite some time. It's her current favorite, but feeding more might be too rich for her.). I hope she's happy with this ratio. I wonder if she's thinking (while slurping away) "mmmm I can taste slightly more CC in today's breakfast." :lol:

I'm sending vines to those who need them today!

YAY for blue amps! What a great start, and I bet Ripley sees the green lagoon today. :cool:

Too fun on the CC thoughts... very well could be. Mannie loves that one too.

Morning Josie, nice blue for Ripley. I agree the CC is a little rich and runny, so mixing another chunkier fuds helps. Mags really likes the Wellness Turkey. I wish it were lower in phosphorus. We are having some partly cloudy weather, too, today. Have a nice day.

Beautiful blue AMPS this morning! It looks like that Ripley's following Blackie's blue and green pattern a bit. :lol: Ripley will look better as time goes on. Have a great day!

Nice start to the day. And we continue to be bummed that CC goes over so well except in our house! Looks like Ripley could tip toes in greens today - have a good one!

Hi Josie. Nice blue AMPS for Ripley. Hope she feels like surfing. PF won't eat the CC. Gave it to him once and his numbers jumped, possibly coincidence, so thought I'd try it one more time but he won't touch it.

Glad Ripley has her appetite. Hope she gets back to her old self soon.

Hi, Ann, I wish a lot of fuds were lower in phosphorous (this seems to be the general consensus with FD/CKD beans). We seem to be sharing similar weather today, though there have been several light showers up here. Rainy days are fun (once in a while ;-) ) with the kiddos ~ they get to take off their shoes and we keep them busy with dance parties :lol: .

Hi, Lisa, it seems that kitties either love CC or hate it. Or in Ripley's case, she used to hate it and now loves it. (She does this just to keep me guessing, I'm sure :lol: .)

Hi, Marje, thanks for checking in on Ripunzel's SS. It's much prettier now than it looked in Feb. And thanks for calling her 'gorgeous.' I've always thought of her as kind of quirky looking :lol:. Almost 'boyish.' She gets mistaken a lot for being male ~ even her vet and staff have been guilty of referring to her as a 'he' on multiple occasions :lol: . I need to dig up pics of younger Ripley ~ talk about awkward looking :lol: . Poor girl. Good thing she's soooo loved :lol: .

Hi, Courtney, ha! I love that you called her Hungry Hungry Rippo! She's a proud member of the CPC today! (Well, her mama is the proud one ;-) .)

Hi, John, I've read about several sugarkitties who've responded with higher BGs after eating CC... hmmmm I bet there's a correlation.


Came home from work, and groggy Ripley stretched and sat up on her rocking chair, waiting for a test. What a sweetie. She wanted to be certain that I knew she was in the lagoon. Then she gave me some cuddles while I logged on here, and even walked across the keyboard ~ adding her own thoughts to her condo. If I hadn't have deleted it, it would've looked something like this: kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkklllllllllll... and so on. (If there are any kitties who can decipher this, I'm open to a translation. My guess would be "Stop typing, mom, and pay attention to me.")

Now she's back on her rocker, sleeping. So, in summary, all is good and normal in Ripley's world this afternoon. :-D
 
Man oh man got a migraine tonight.
DH has been a great CG for Ripley and me tonight.

R just got her squids and now she's happily finishing her dinner.

Was hoping to comment on condos tonight, but will have to wait until tomorrow.

Sending feel-better vines to Raja, Kismet, Alfred, Mannie, and Ollie tonight. Hugs to these kitties and their amazing beans.

Josie, thanks for the vines, and sending some back at ya! I hope you wake up feeling well and refreshed. Sometimes a good night's rest is the only way to get rid of a headache.
