3/20 Prince AMPS 124. +20 minutes 121.+30 minutes115 . +1 99. +2 135.

He had approximately a teaspoon of food and then I took it away. The only way I can test and shoot him is while he eats.

Not much of a food bump. It may be an active cycle or he may bounce.

If you can monitor, please shoot. (I see that you have shot these levels in Dec 2020.)

Take a deep breath Lisa and get ready for some beautiful numbers! Lantus takes about two hours to kick in and this is a lovely number to shoot.

Let's hope this is Prince's big turnaround and he's going to head into even lower numbers.

Are you ready to start shooting greens? It's always a breathtaking moment when the AMPS is a green number - so read up on how to breeze through that. There are lots of people here who shoot greens daily - look at @Butters & Lyla and @JaxBenji - such lovely green numbers. My Luci is a lot more stubborn than that and as a long term diabetic I'm thrilled when I have the honor of shooting a green.

Just saying you want to be mentally prepared to begin shooting lower numbers! Congratulations on that lovely blue start to the day!

You can test again in 2 hours.

It’s ok to wait 2 hours? He had dropped to 115 when I shot. Greens freak me out. We haven’t seen many! I don’t recall seeing much info about shooting them. He’s loving the extra lap time on a Saturday morning.

I am heading to bed now..
I would continue testing each hour at the moment as it looks like an active cycle.
If he continues to drop during the early part of the cycle you can always give him a snack of medium carb food to bring him back up a bit.
Don’t feed too much as you don’t want to fill him up in case you need him to eat later on but you don’t want him to drop too much before the onset of the insulin either.
