All's a little tense in Pollywood. Oh, the girl is fine. Playing in her cardboard boxes, pawing at my arm for attention, eating all her breffis without bean encouragement.

But 'til my old man gets through his dental, I'll be a bit on edge. Thanks for all the vines. I'm hanging on to them tightly today.

Leave home at 7:30 to get him to the sanctuary clinic by 8:00. (15 miles)
Come back home to get a +3 on Polly and pick up my boss' cleaning lady; I take her to work with me each Friday.
Back to work at the sanctuary by 9:00.
Maybe run home to test Polly mid morning.
Take cleaning lady home around 1:00.
Back at sanctuary late afternoon to fetch the Boomtown boy.

And all I want to do is crawl back in bed for oh, about four days!

Guess I'd better hope for some "spring" in my step today. And lots of coffee in my belly. Arghhh.

Goodness, that sounds like one of my days lately! Roller skates indeed (although I'd hurt myself if I tried them)! Looks like Polly is working those carbs out of her system. Good time for her to be doing that, too, since it keeps you from having to worry she's going too low! Sending tons of good dental vines for Boomer. A few for the bean.

Boomer news. Got through the dental just fine. Five extractions. That's the good news.

Vet discovered a tear in his soft palate going down into his throat when they went to intubate him. Vet repaired the tear, took tissue for biopsy. Suspected cancer lesions caused the tear. Could be he jammed something down his throat causing the damage ... I doubt that. So....check in 7 days.

Bupe and clavamox and daily fluids.

Going to spoil that boy like crazy for the next 7 days. A pix taken just a few weeks ago. The Boom and Miss Polly encouraging me to hurry up with dinner

Sending lots and lots of vines that the tear is nothing. Does Boomer ever get mouth ulcers? Brooklyn gets rodent ulcers/eosinophilic granulomas in her mouth sometimes. I notice them when they're on her lips but I know they can show up on the soft palate. Maybe it's from something like that.
