Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (LOTS today Elsa! please.....), and Happy Fursday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP kitteh barista pilot!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Bug and Lola are exhausted from I dunno! but they still want to be working today too at PawPrints Pizza, so..... They have decided that today is TURN-AROUND TRIPLE THURSDAY! They are doing triples on everything! Kinda cool huh! They say that since Wacky Wednesday was so wacky that they wants to give all kitties some fun times today, triple funs! What will that be.... I dunno! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot Breve's, with beans from high in the Brazilian Mountains.... and for my mocha fans: a VENTI Quad Blueberry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, swirled with a raspberry puree, topped with a strawberry infused whip garnished with caramelized berry sprinkles and white chocolate curls and a caramel drizzle.......SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of 4 berry and vanilla and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with caramel and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good!

I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. We did well here. Our day started out pretty much as they always do... one of Nicholas famous waffles and berries breffis, with a few gummi bears added for good measure, and bacon. I love these mornings, such a grand just hangout together time, as we discuss what the day will hold, what they want to do, what we can do, what the weather will be, and if Bear is coming... of course Bear always gets to come. oh - oranges have been added to the mix, and Nicholas will at times share some of his fuds with William. Nicholas says his breffis is much better. I have to agree with him on that one. ;-) William gets pureed veggie fruit whatever, some berries, a few crackers or cheerios and milk. We watch one Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and then we are out the door. What a day! We went swimming yesterday, and then to local trail there. Nice time! Here's what I wrote about the day in last night's post: "Hi Everyone! greeting from the soggy PNW. I hope your day has been a good one. I am sitting here watching the deluge fall. I don't think we could be any wetter, Funny thing is a few miles south they have intermittent sun, and few miles north, more sun. sheshhh and no fair! We did make the pool, duh. Nicholas was on the tired side today, but gave it his all anyways. It was a slow start for him, but once the big pool opened up it was no holes barred and off he went. The energizer fishie was just that: energized! It is his fav spot now. I truly wonder what we will do this summer if that pool is not opened for family time. i dunno... it wasn't last summer. We hope that they will realize that there are those of us that really rely on that pool being accessible to families. well anyways - it was the usual in the pool today, as much time underwater as there as on top. He still loves the water as much as ever, and once gain, no swim test. oh well on that - he will when he is good and ready, he does know what he wants. ;-) We did the pool trail again today. It was darn apparent that if we wanted any outdoor time it has better be after the swim stuff, as that was when the weather break was, and Nicholas was fading fast. I-) William is really lot of fun to take on these little hikes/adventures of ours, on these trails. His face just lights up when we head onto the path, arms start flying, legs are a-kickin'. Silly kid knows where he is. Skies opened up when we were half way through it. Thank goodness there is enough of a tree canopy that we didn't get too wet. Nicholas didn't care, and William didn't either. Neither one of those boys cared that they were soaked. awesome!   Despite the never ending rains here today it was a good day."

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   This morning things are very normal, very quiet... hmmmmmmmmmmm...... Its like they now the day after I have the boys that the bean is mega tired, so they chill out more than normal. Good Kitties! Once again Elsa has camped out on her spot on the sofa, Bug is in Mannie's bed, and Lola is on my lap. Supreme bliss rules here this morning. I have written this so many times, but it still holds true: the mornings here are my some of my favorite times with the kitties. Stay this way today kitties. It is so quiet there this morning. We all had a great day yesterday - even the kitties. They have been extra cuddly, and extra good. Almost too good. It was nice to have one day where things weren't Lola-ized. OH WAIT! There was one thing....      DH brought home some leftover cupcakes from a St Patrick's day thing at his TBP. They were green frosted, chocolate, green sprinkles, and he thought the boys would really like them. So I left them on the counter, in their plastic container. When I was making breffis in the morning I turned and found Lola, of course it was Lola, sitting on top of the box, batting at the sprinkles. She had sorta "collapsed" part of the plastic box by sitting on it, so some of the sprinkles were stuck to the top.   SILLY CAT! ARRGGHHHHHH! Nicholas said that it was OK, not to get mad at Lola, he liked them anyways. He just used his finger to get the frosting off the top of the box, Well. duh.  Normalcy in MusketeerVille! well sorta... :-D

Have a great day everyone. I am back on Nicholas and William duty today. The weather is..... I dunno! it keeps changing... It looks like it will be cloudy in he morning, maybe some sun by afternoon. Who knows what we will do today!  I think I will let Nicholas pick when he gets here, If it is sunny in the afternoon there is little doubt that we will be at the beach/park/river. SWEET!
KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

Re: 3/30 LOOSE LIPS: pools and trails.... and rains...

LOL...it sounds like the cupcake damage wasn't too bad, considering there was a fluffy kitty butt sitting on them!

I really hope the pool is open for you guys in the summer. It seems ironic that that is when it wouldn't be available for family use! So cool that the boys didn't care that they got drenched...they are true outdoorsman!

Have a great day, Michelle!

Re: 3/30 LOOSE LIPS: pools and trails.... and rains...

Morning Amy ~O) ~O) ~O) Yupp, the cupcake damage wasn't too bad. Thank goodness it was a big box, so most survived. Me too on the pool this summer... paws are crossed big time. I really don't want to have to start looking for another, if there even is one, or start with the open swim sessions - those are just way too chaotic. well, we shall see. and yes - I agree: summer is the one time they should have that option - alot of families go then, ad don't want the "nuts" that come with full open swims. LOL and true on the boys being wet. - love it that they didn't care. :-D

Re: 3/30 LOOSE LIPS: pools and trails.... and rains...

I love it that William has so much fun too. :-D Who cares about getting wet, especially boys. Too cute on the cupcakes. It's all good. Nicholas doesn't care. Have a great day Michelle!!

Re: 3/30 LOOSE LIPS: pools and trails.... and rains...

I think Grammabean has had a bit of an influence on the boys attitude to rain and the outdoors. I hope you can get the pool time for Nicholas this summer. Wasn't there a new aquatic center? Would that work?

Quiet time w/ the kittehs is the best! Emma is settling down a bit and i expect lola is too. We ordered the batting netting yesterday, enough to go around a section of the patio. We'll let you know how it works out.

Re: 3/30 LOOSE LIPS: pools and trails.... and rains...

Hi, Michelle, your mornings do sound so nice.
I love that the boys aren't bothered by the rain. (I also love the idea of waffles with a side of gummy bears ;-) .)
I'm glad the cupcakes survived Lola ~ I bet she was thinking 'If I just had a few more minutes to figure out how to open this box...'
I hope you have a GREAT day!!
:-D :-D :-D

Re: 3/30 LOOSE LIPS: pools and trails.... and rains...

How funny with Lola and the cupcakes. I'm glad the boys were still able to enjoy them. It looks like the boys had a good time on the trail yesterday. I hope today was fun.

Re: 3/30 LOOSE LIPS: pools and trails.... and rains...

Hi Michelle,
What a great rainy day yesterday! Sounds like the boys really loved getting soaked. And you?

Does the new pool have family hours during the summer? But maybe Nicholas will be ready for the swimming class by the summer and that will solve your dilemma.

Love the cupcake sit! Love the boy's yummy breakfasts! What do you eat for breakfast (besides Elsa's best brew)?

Hope you had a fun adventure today.

Thank you Elsa! ~O) ~O) so good today on the stormy first day of spring.

Hugs, scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Re: 3/30 LOOSE LIPS: pools and trails.... and rains...

Hi Everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. It has been very busy here, another day where I/we never made it back to the house.... We did well here today. 53 tops, mostly sunny skies, no winds. There will be kick ass sunset tonight. I'm have tempted to head on out to watch it at picnic point. should be gorgeous. but..... truly think I'm done, even considering how much I'd like to see the colors. we were on overload today - out the door at nine, never made it back to the house til 6, as traffic was awful! it was really cold in the morning, like 35, so we decided, well Nicholas did, to go to the Aquarium in the morning, until things warmed up some. It was a great choice, we never tire of the place. Today he as into the tropical fish, and spent alot of time there. The octopus were fun: very active today, all over the tanks! Nicholas asked for the Waterfront Park, so he could eat his lunch near the water. Love that! So we did. By then It was sunny and warm out. It was a given to me that we'd end up at Juanita Beach for the rest of the day. Both boys napped in the car on the way there, so they were all set for an afternoon of swings and slides and sand and water. What great afternoon out under sunny skies, o winds, and warmth! :-D :-D :-D It was mega busy, crazy, but ever so much fun. They both had a great day.I will post the Picassa link to the photos in tomorrow's condo.

Forgive the brief responses tonight,. I am beat, and am falling asleep at the keyboard. So.... ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz! Sorry that I missed so many condos....
Hi Ella - lol, yes on the soaked - I am so used to it, I really don't mind. I am not sure on the new pool, I need to check and will do that when I know what the regular pool will do. Swim lessons would solve he problem, yes! LO, on breffis: Bagels for me.
Hi Carla - That cupcake thing was so funny! I did laugh - alot.
Hi Josie - thanks for the visit! more than true on Lola and those cupcakes: she would have too! and I so agree on the boys: bring on the rains. :-D
Hi Ann - please do on the fence - I'd really like to know. LOL, and more than true on the boys attitude on the rains,. we go unless it is a monstrous downpour. And yes on the new pool =- it may work, but is not close to the house, so we shall see. Nice on Emma, and yes on Lola - she is slowly settling too. She just turned 2, so hopefully more settling to come.
Hi Anne - YUPP! tripe turnaround Fursday! mega good! I so now on those boys... William is 9 months! when did that happen?
Hi Melissa - Me too on Willi ma - he wants to be right in there with his brother - so nice to see! I so agree on the cupcakes. it was funny, and we had a god laugh over the whole thing.

Re: 3/30 LOOSE LIPS: pools and trails.... and rains...

Well, what's a kitty to do, when mama bean has the sweets covered up? . Smooshed cupcakes taste just as good as the unsmooshed ones, so Nicholas is smart to know that!. I hope your pool will be for family, that is weird that it wouldn't be. I'm glad you had a nice (if busy!) day at the Aquarium and the beach. Hopefully a good nights rest tonight follows

Hi Rachel - Lola agree with you: what is a kitty to do? sit on the box of course! It was nice Nicholas didn't care. The whole thing made him laugh. I hope so too on the pool, they do things different,y in the summer, so we wait to see what they decide for the one pool we like to use. THX on yesterday - the whole day was great.
