Good Morning!
Latte had an amazing two cycles yesterday...most shocking - her pred cycle!
yesterday:
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=9665

amps:251
+2-134
+3-120
+5-148
+6-177
pmps-231- (pred cycle)
+1.75-123
+3-130
+4-176
+6-172

I was prepared to bcs today due to all her variables, and then she gave me borderline amps...so I shot.

*disclaimer for new folks-not recommended course of action*....
Considering she RAN to her food this a.m., ate approx 1/4 can in first sitting (she usually takes at least an hour to eat this much), howling at water bowl, probably shot a kibble spike that was losing steam, etc. I added some karo to the last half of her food. She ate more before I put the karo in, but has eaten a good portion with. The overall goal of this was to slow any drop that could cause her to bounce and/or drop her too early in the cycle. I guess we shall see if it helps between +1 and +2, +3. I think I was too late for the first part of the drop, because as you can see she lost almost 100pts by +1.

She seems pretty good overall. Very soft and squishy!

Hoping to get myself out on this lovely Saturday to run some errands and get some new shoes! An unexpected bonus at one of my jobs this week allowed Latte to go to the vet, and me to get a pair of shoes without holes in them! Oh how pitiful!

Latte's numbers have me smiling!! I bet they have you grinning from ear to ear.

Please get new shoes. I have memories of Minneapolis spring - not looking where I was putting my feet and stepping into an ankle deep puddle of slush.

Beautiful numbers Latte...Carolyn...that is great that you are able to buy new shoes...
Isn't it great when you get a surprise windfall? Hope you enjoy the shopping and that latte continues to have another wonderful day!! HUGS!

Re: 3/20 Latte AMPS-219, +1-122, +2-129

+2- 129
Replaced food w/karo to food w/o in hopes that she is done skydiving for the day.

yes sienne, it makes me smile - but of course it also makes me wonder what is up her paw!
It's nice to know she CAN do this, after a rough couple months. Now its a matter of figuring out how, or if she can continue.

WOW look at the day Latte had yesterday! Color you happy :-D
What a nice way to start the weekend!
So happy that Latte gave you such a nice surprise with her numbers and her appetite
and hope you have the nicest day shoe shopping!
(one of my very favorite things to do).
Gave a lovely Caturday, Carolyn(and Latte too, of course)!

Re: 3/20 Latte AMPS-219, +1-122, +2-129, +3-92

A nice Latte report, and a nice start to spring for you guys. What a beautiful string of numbers.

Re: 3/20 Latte AMPS-219, +1-122, +2-129, +3-92, +4-102,+6-91

My what lovely, non-threatening numbers!

I wonder how big the bounce will be if she stays down there much longer.

Now, to tear myself away from her ears and the meter, so I can go get those new shoes!!!

She is resting very peacefully, on a super full, gurgly belly...and a smile on her face - seriously! ;-)

Re: 3/20 Latte AMPS-219, +3-92, +4-102,+6-91

Re: 3/20 Latte AMPS-219, PMPS-176

Who took my cat?!?!

AMPS-219
+1-122
+2-129
+3-92
+4-102
+6-91
+7=124
+11-179 (kibble)
pmps-176 (pred cycle)

I dont expect I will have to hold my breath much longer! I think last night was a fluke in the pred cycle. A nice one, for sure! Maybe it helped give her a bit of a push. Three beautifully perfect cycles...bless her heart. She is looking a little haggard, and not quite the bundle of energy she was last night. Must be hard work to give her bean such nice numbers. ;-)

Re: 3/20 Latte AMPS-219, PMPS-176

Boy, Latte sure drops after her shots. I hope she enjoyed some time in the sun this afternoon.
I just recently threw away all my shoes with holes in them. Hey, diabetic cats are expensive!

Considering she is in the midst of the pred peak, and probably beginning a kibble spike I think she is doing pretty good. She will likely go higher before +6...then who knows. Im just so proud of her, no matter how short lived it may be.

I didnt get my shoes (its going to take work to find the right one's), but I did get her one of those scratching boxes that lay on the ground. She loved the cat nip and stood on it with one foot. She tried to scratch...for the nip. She ate the nip, and really wanted to lay down and roll her head in it, but that was hard. It was cute. I have it ramped up on the bottom step leading to her throne. Hopefully she will figure out how to use it, so she can do some good self maintenance on her claws. maybe a bigger one, so she can put all fours on it?

What a great day for beautiful miss Latte! Let me know if the self maintenance works -- I've got two kitties, including Chloe, with long sharp talons that they will NOT let me touch! I test Chloe by sitting on the floor, with my knees up, and her sitting on my thighs....using my knees as a place to dig in her claws! I'm always covered in scratches and claw marks!

What type of climing did you do in Seattle? Ranier-type climbing?

We have a slanted scratching pad (I think it's called an alpine scratcher), and they all love it. Doesn't completely stop them from using the furniture, but it gets a lot of use.
