Good Morning All,
Stu had a good day yesterday, a good night, and is fine and energetic this morning: ate a hearty breakfast, visited the litterbox, played with his toys; went outside and nibbled at last year's dried weeds (now he'll probably throw them up, as he likes to do--on a good rug!). There's a touch of spring in the frozen air and Stu is looking forward to those first green shoots poking up through the snow. Maybe he'll have a green number in anticipation! Everyone have a good day with no emergencies.

Sounds as if Stu has put in a full day already at this time of the morning! Wow. Now what will he do now that all that is taken car of?
My two hate the carrier...that is what was so shocking that Shadow went into it on his own like that last night... :lol: They are usually put away in my closet but I left them out cause we are going to need dentals soon. Just left them in the spare room and he went in it twice to rest....very strange indeed!
My two love boxes too....there is one set up in my closet and Raja loves to go in there. (especially if any guests come to visit ... she is not so sociable and takes to hiding in my closet....they feel safe and it's very cute.

"Ice Out" is usually around mid April here in the North Country. We take bets on when a plastic chair set out on the ice on one of the lakes will fall through!

Very Funny spring rituals :lol: :shock:--I see all the bulbs coming up here!! Hope the squirrels dont get them!! They make a map when we plant them in the fall, so they can get right there :lol:
Sounds like Stu should be tired already!! All that action should bring down his numbers?? Hoping you see good blues & greens today!!

What a busy bee that Stu is! What else is on the agenda for today? :lol:

Im thinking of shoveling the rest of the snow off my deck and letting Latte outside. I always think its still too cold for her in the 30's, despite the stronger sun. But she is a hearty girl (tough!), i bet she could handle it, as does stu! thanks for the inspiration.

Lovely drop over there. Here is to a nice slow decline into good numbers for stu today! drinking24

Wow, Stu does like dramatic drops doesn't he. :shock:

I like the plastic chair. When I lived in Minnesota they would put old cars out, :? you're much more environmentally responsible.

Well sure looks like eating brown weeds worked to get Stu some green.
All this talk of Spring/bulbs/ice out sure sounds good. Let's add mud and blackfly season in to feel better about winter.

Hi Again,
Stu's bg is 129 at almost +9 so I guess he didn't drop much further after the 98. Thanks for the heads up Sienne. I should have tested him again between +6 and +9, but I had to go out. My husband was keeping his eye on him. Stu took his customary afternoon nap. Now he wants to go back outside and sample the weeds. I didn't let him out, so instead he's digging into the cardboard box containing the dissertation of one of my husband's students! Always likes to pull stuff out of containers!

Mud, blackflies, what are they???????!
