So last night I gave him 0.9u, Ijust tested him and he is 411.
His shot will be due in 2.5 hrs but I'm thinking about giving it to him in 1.5 hr since he is high, would this be a good thing to do?

I will be giving him 1u this morning although it lasted for more than 12 hrs when I gave him 1u yesterday but less than that doesn't seem to be enough I think.

Yesterday at the same number range, you got an unshootable preshot.

I think you are bouncing around too much. I would give .75 today and get some mid cycle numbers. If you can't today, then a curve this weekend. We don't really know what is going on. You are reacting to preshot numbers without knowing what is really happening with the insulin mid cycle.

I've been giving him 1u in the past 3 days (except for a possible am fur shot). I'm bouncing a little on his pm shot, I gave him 1u at night the day I fur shot him, last night 0.9u because of how he tested on pre-shot.

I won't be able to do a curve until Sunday possibly so what should I do until then?

It's only my opinion, Nadja. He's your kitty and you hold the syringe. Your one unit gave you an unshootable pmps last night. That is an indicator that the dose is too high. And we would assume the same thing would happen today if you give close to 1 unit. (If we could have seen his numbers in the middle of the cycle, we would have a much clearer picture of what happened, but you have a life. I understand perfectly) I would give .75 today and get in any tests you can so we can figure out what is happening. Even a test as you walk out the door, or walk in the door, or before bed. Every little bit helps.

I gave him 0.75 this morning, I iwll be able to test him in 2 hrs when I have a break from work I will post here what he tests. thanks!
