Good Friday Morning, Everyone,

Rusty is starting out green after his mostly blue "rest day" yesterday. Yep, we all need a rest day from time to time. He had a good night sleeping with his beans, good test, shot, breakfast (Wellness Turkey) and now a good chillax on his little day bed next to the radiator. Typical morning here for our kitty. But soon it will be disrupted by the vacuum cleaner. We are getting ready for the birthdays/anniversaries potluck dinner here tomorrow night. Edward is starting preparations to bake his Hungarian potato bread. We have a trip to the landfill planned for later this morning, plus a little more shopping (forgot some things yesterday in my delight at finding a tea kettle. Ours gave up the ghost about 15 years ago and I never replaced it, but have always missed it; finally found one that is just the right size and shape!! And it boils water really well, too!)

A new storm is going to move in later tonight and tomorrow, but it will mainly be a rain/wind event. Ugh. All our nice snow will rot. Hopefully we won't lose any trees in the 60mph winds that are predicted.

Wishing you all a good Friday and continuing to send healing vines to Sammy, Sid, Morgaine, Rocket, all other kitties who can use them, and to Katie,

Ella & Rusty

Enjoy that cleaning.... ugh, and I so need to do that. and the landfill - the upcoming potluck sounds like fun - enjoy the prep!

Bummer on the incoming storm - bummer too on the snow....

Enjoy your day today.

Lovely green for the gorgeous Rusty this morning. I was looking for a whistling tea kettle at Walmart the other day, but they were all sold out. Apparently they are being replaced by the electric ones. Enjoy your potluck festivities. Yum that bread that Edward is baking sure sounds nice. Have a nice day.

Hi guys .. so glad rusty is all rested up and is now enjoying a green day, right rusty? Yay on the new teapot find! I received one as a wedding gift 9 years ago .. its spotted like a giraffe and the handle comes up as his neck .. he's got little eyes and ears .. so cute, but has obviously seen better days! Have a great weekend guys!

Hi again,
Rusty supervised the vacuuming this afternoon, and when it was finished he pounced on his little plastic bell ball and batted it around for about 20 minutes. Boy, can he move fast!! He may have played soccer in another life! We got all our chores done, the potato bread is made, last-minute shopping accomplished, a walk downtown to the post office, and now we have the evening to relax. Rusty is headed to the lagoon to see who's there.

Everyone enjoy the start to the weekend,

Ella & Rusty

Hey there!! Moonie is meeting Rusty in the Lagoon, and seems to like it there!!
Glad you found the tea kettle..I missed a bowl that broke & just found a close to it one
Hope you will be safe in the storm...And Please Have a great time with your friends!!
Enjoy--Hugs & Love from us!

Well that well deserved rest yesterday gave him the energy to have a fabulous day today.

You two are the most productive beans I know   And every time you mention something you or Edward has made, I just am ready to fly right up there and be an unannounced guest....oh yes, with Tobey and Gracie in tow   I'd bring Gus but it's too much paraphenelia

Tobey sends big hugs to his Auntie Ellabean from her other best boy. He says the weather there is keeping him home   He's a southern boy.

Have a great night and lots of fun at the potluck tomorrow night!

Nice greens Rusty! Good for you on finding the tea kettle. Ours died about 10 years ago and it took us over a year to find a replacement. They are hard to find. I think most people just microwave but there is something wonderful about tea from a kettle. Yum on the bread! You will have such a great time at your get together and so will Rusty. Have a great night Ella!

Wow, Rusty, you had a great day! Tell Edward thank you for his advice on kicking this cold but my strategy is to overload with vitamin C and herbal tea. :-D Hope you are having fun at the party.
Liz

Gorgeous day for Rusty. Just the thought of your house and the smell of Edward's bread baking makes me feel warm. Yay, on the kettle. Ours is the most used pot in the kitchen!

Rusty, the soup was sooooooo good! Thank you my friend. Best of all was all of you coming to cuddle w/ me. it made me feel so much better. -- Tess
p.s. the pizza didn't hurt either.
