Good Evening LL!

I hope everyone is feeling well. Sorry we've been gone so much lately. It's been a rough winter for us. I'm finally feeling a lot better as far as bronchitis goes and all the other germy maladies. I'm just dealing with a lot of pain in my hip and back now so typing is hard.

I also have a broken computer. I'm using it but as little as possible because the more I use it the sooner it will conk out completely. Dell has ordered parts and will have a tech here as soon as they get in to fix it but until that happens, the battery is going out by using it and I don't know what other harm I am doing by using it so hot.

Racci was able to have a small decrease (.25) and is still maintaining her blues and greens though not as green as she was. I'd really like to get her back to 3u but at least she's down to 3.25 now. She hasn't been eating too well and has been going back and forth between diarrhea and constipation the past couple of weeks. I also found a new sore on the rim of her anus again probably brought on by the diarrhea, but it looks better today. She doesn't look too well so will probably be taking her to the vet next week. I'm going to give her a bath this weekend though if she lets me and see if a little pampering makes hr feel better.
Hopefully, she won't give me too hard a time or with my back and hip I won't get too far.

I have to get going and want to visit a couple of people so take care and talk to you soon. I just wanted to check in. will try to start posting again at least to get Racci's condos up. Have a great night.

got your pm. Glad you are back on board.
I have similar issues with my laptop ( with no battery in it) .... gets hot... have to wait for cooling down...
probably won't last much longer for me....

Hope Racci "wants" her bath so you can get thru it quickly without pain.

You just about gave me a heart attack with that rainbow icon!!! It's only for kitties who have gone to the bridge....I'm sorry Racci hasn't been feeling well lately, but I'm relieved to know she's still with us! Her numbers look lovely...I hope she feels better ASAP. And, I hope you feel better soon, too!!!

Oh Melaine, hope you gets better soon. Spring will be arriving, with warmer weather hope that helps with your back pain.
Sorry that Racci's not feeling good with his upset tummy. Hope you'll have a good vetty visit next week.

Melanie, thanks for the update. I've been wondering how you are doing and I'm glad you're feeling better. My heart sank when I saw the rainbow icon (that's for kitties that have died) so I am doubly glad that Racci is doing ok. I hope the digestion problem gets better. And her poor butt. :sad:

Oh, Melanie! My heart dropped when I saw the rainbow icon! :o

I'm so glad to see a condo from you and know Racci is okay! Glad you're feeling better, but sorry about your back/hip pain and the computer problems. I do hope Racci's bottom clears up and a vet visit will tell you more.

You made my stomach lurch with the rainbow icon. (It's for the kitties who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge.) I'm glad you're feeling better. I hope there's noting major going on with Racci -- her numbers today look good!

Same sentiments as above...heart sank when I saw the rainbow! :shock: Glad to hear Racci is alive and mostly well!!! Hope her bum issues clear up and hope she starts feeling better. Lovely numbers today! Happy Caturday.

I'm glad there is no emergency or bad news. Also hope that Racci will start feeling better and everything is ok with her.

I also hope you are on the mend...you have had a really tough winter.

Melanie, my heart sank, too. I'm so glad to see you and Racci here, but sorry you're not feeling well, and so sorry to hear Racci is suffering with diarrhea and constipation. Sending you both healing vines. I hope you get your computer fixed soon.

Hi MElanie - it is good to hear from you. I hope you begin to feel better soon. healing vines from Mannie and I. Good luck with the computer too - been there last year with that one.

Exceptional numbers for Racci - wow, and very nice! I hope too that all is well with her. Mega good vetty vines for when you take her to the vet.

I'm so sorry for the rainbow icon!!!! I didn't notice it. I must have hit it by accident! It certainly did get everyone's attention but I'm so sorry for the bad feelings it brought to you all. I know how sick and upset I get when one of our kitties is even sick, nevermind, has crossed over, and hate that I did that to you for no reason. Thank goodness Racci just has her usual minor problems that come with her compromised immune system and old age. She may have a tummy bug as well but it doesn't appear to be anything serious. (anti-jinx-a billion times) :shock:
It is great to hear from you all though! :lol: Thanks so much for your concern and your notes. You cheered up my day. I missed you all while I've been being a hermit here!

Rhiannon, Michelle and anyone else who had the overheating problem with their laptops, after working on mine for a couple of days, I figured out that it's a defect in the fan/cooling system. Dell is taking care of mine for free even though it's over 3 yrs old. When I called their tech dept. they confirmed that after checking themselves through remote hookup. You might be able to get your manufacturer to do the same if it's the same problem. Mine is showing that the battery is hooked up but not charging and won't automatically boot because it is too hot (in case yours is doing the same).
